Dr. Brown doesn't know what she is doing. Is she really an architect? After we spend days on a design she tells us to change it the way she wants it and then after we pin it up and present it to the class...she says she doesn't like it and tells us to change it back the way we had it to start with.

This class was to help teach us how to draw and what to expect for our future studio sessions. Long story short, stay away from this instructor! She does not know anything about how to draw nor does she know how to draw herself. She flaunts that she has her PHD, whats a PHD if you don't even know how to teach the subject. She has no set grading rubric, therefore she grades you based on her liking you or not.

Loulie is a really caring professor who teaches the material well. The course load was rather intense (8pages per week) for a 3-unit class, but there isn't a midterm or final. The class was mostly analyzing current theories in planning and will be a treat to those who are wanting to start focusing on potential nonprofit careers that promote social equity and environmental justice. Stay up with the assignments, and proofread your work and you should at least get a B (getting an "A" is no easy task even if you complete all your assignments). If you thought you could get away with not doing readings for classes, this course will quickly shift your mentality. Because of this class' general small size, I would really suggest participating in the discussions if you want to get a good grade. Loulie is full of smiles, and has a lot of real world experience to share with you, take advantage of her youthful knowledge and drive.
