Aradanas was possibly one of the weirdest professors I have ever had. Most of the class time is filled with us watching random videos or watching powerpoint presentations of pictures of his life. I will say that this class will be your easiest A in college, but if you are looking to actually learn about Asian-American studies as I was, this is not the class for you. If you don't understand very much about race though, I would recommend you take this course just so you can learn more about other people's perspectives. In the course most of the grade is two super easy exams and one essay which seems super irrelevant and is a little difficult, but he grades very easily. Overall, if you want a GPA booster, take the class!

Prof. Aradanas was the best! Not only was Asian American Studies a class that I actually looked forward to, but he managed to present the information in an interesting way. He did a great job of using historical videos to assist his lectures in a way that I retained a lot of information. Aradanas is also the most interesting guy. Overall, I really recommend this class! (Very easy as well)

Mr. Aradanas was such a fun professor and I really enjoyed this class. His lectures were really easy to follow and even though the content was gloomy, he was able to make the class fun to attend. His work load was reading 2-3 articles a class and take a quick quiz at the beginning of the next class. There was a mid term and final exam, a presentation and 2 papers. The work load is totally doable and he does offer extra credit if you need it. Can't wait to take another class with Professor Aradanas!!

I loved Aradanas! I immensely enjoyed his class and going to it. at first, his class may seem intimdating and a lot of work, but he only structures the class that way so the students take it seriously. I would defintely take another class of his if given the chance. My eyes were opened and i learned so much about the history and wars that the US tried to cover up involving minority oppression. Before this class I hardly knew anything about this subject. I never ealized I was so ignorant to such an important part of civil rights history. Now I am seeking a path in my major and ultimately, career, to be around promoting minority representation. Aradanas is a very empathetic and kind professor and really cares about what he is teaching and about his students. Take Aradanas if you get the chance!!!! If I dare say, his class changed my life!

Professor Aradanas is extremely knowledgeable in the field of Ethnic Studies. His class is easy as long as you do the reading for each class which is doable. There are quizzes every lecture with just one question. If you miss some there are extra credit opportunities. You don't need a book because he provides all the readings. There is one essay that is only 5-7 pages long and 2 midterms that are MC with 15 questions each. The review session completely prepared you for these. This class is great. He shows many relevant and entertaining clips and also shares memories for his adventurous life. His lectures are very relatable for Asian students but all are welcome! Take Him!

I learned that if I were to take up hunting, I should shoot deer, not bears, because a bear will hunt me back if I successfully wound it. Fascinating! I didnt know that the key to production and operations management was so brutally simple!
