Browne, Angelica  

Frau Browne is the most helpful, caring and genuinely supportive teacher at Cal Poly. She provides you with everything you need to be successful and is super easy going and understanding when it comes to turning in papers and assignments. She will literally meet you anywhere if you need help on your homework, she'll let you retake any test and she will allow you to submit things later than expected if you have other class work that is more important. She wants everyone to succeed and is the most amazing woman. Obvi you have to work hard, but all you have to do is put in the effort and you'll get an A.

She is such an awesome and amazing teacher for this class. Whether you were a native speaker, learned German through your high school or at Cal Poly, or learned through an exchange program and never learned it through a class, she meets you where you are at on your language journey. She might seem threatening because she assigns a lot of homework each night, but when you get to class you realize she didn't even expect all of it. She expects you to do what you can do. If you don't understand something, she will explain it for you. It is by far the best class I have taken, and she finds a perfect balance between hard work, testing, and helping you understand the material. This class definitely requires some time outside of class, but it is so worth it and you will grow in German an insane amount. I highly recommend taking this class if she is teaching it.
