Chi, Peter  

Professor Chi was awesome! He always made our class laugh and he is the most caring professor I've had at Cal Poly. He is extremely prepared and does everything in his power to make sure you understand the concepts. If you need help, ask questions or he will think you understand. He always prints handouts for each lecture, and does quizzes on most days which are worth 25% of the grade. It sounds like a lot, but the quizzes are not hard and it's easily doable to get 100% on every single one. If you go to office hours, he will explain something 10 different ways if needed to make sure you understand it. If you have to take Stats, Professor Chi is best teacher to take!! Seriously!!! You won't regret it!

Dr. Chi is an amazing professor! It is not only obvious that he is extremely knowledgable about the material but also that he care about his students. He gives you every opportunity to succeed, as evidenced by his emails informing you of exactly what will be on the next day's quiz as well as practice questions for each exam. He really goes above and beyond to make sure his students understand and succeed. Hands down one of the best professors I've had at Cal Poly. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN!

I really liked having Chi as a professor! He's really nice and energetic. He's one of those professors that really likes to teach. What he teaches in class is definitely easy, except the material that is on the Homework and Tests are MUCH harder. I got a B only because the class material itself is pretty difficult. Other than that though, I had a great time in this class. He really cares about students, and curves nicely. He will offer extra credit when the class is slipping. My only advice: REALLY study for those exams. I got an F on one but was able to bounce back.

I would highly suggest him. He really cares about his students and presents the material so that you can learn it easily. Take him!

Great teacher. Always brought lots of energy to class and used good examples to present the material. Take him if you can!
