Compared to other Business Law classes, taking this class was definitely a good choice. Instead of having to read hundreds of pages of textbook, you just have to read court cases which I feel is more relevant and useful. Her class is pretty boring but it's a discussion and the students are pretty involved which makes the material easier to learn. Her tests are very fair and if you go to class and pay attention it's not hard to get an A. She is also very understanding of students and is open to what people have to say.

Such a great teacher. Her lecture slides are very understandable and the quizzes and midterm she gave were very straightforward and reflected her lectures. She is able to use real life examples and scenarios to explain herself, which made the info very easy to grasp. She really values class participation, but she will never call on you and its not necessary to get a good grade. There is no textbook for this class and attendance is not graded. She offers occasional extra credit for doing a reading homework assignment. For a science major, I truly enjoyed this class and would 100% recommend taking Eppright!!

Amazing professor. Took her for BUS 207. She really knows her material and very sweet, reasonable professor. She had to slow down a bit in BUS 207 because we were not grasping the material. She definitely recognizes and clarifies student difficulties. I cannot wait to take for her BUS 404.

Professor Eppright is a nice lady and her BUS 404 class was a good, averagely challenging class. It does require some reading of court cases, but overall I felt like you could've found all the info you needed online (the book wasn't really necessary). The class mostly is comprised of power points, some videos, and some student discussion. The multiple choice sections of the midterm and final were literally child's play. The essays she graded a little tougher. She also includes some extra credit on the midterm and final. Ended up with a B+, enjoyed going to the City Courthouse downtown for a hearing, but overall I felt like the course was just a BUS 207 refresher with some more ethics thrown in. Didn't enjoy it as much as BUS 207 with Carr, but I still recommend her!

Eppright is a very fair professor. The class is very dull at times, but she is a really nice person who knows the material very well. There are ridiculous amounts of readings (like court cases that are 100+ pages long for one night's reading) that literally nobody does, and you really don't have to. Read online summaries and understand the court cases, and you'll be fine. KNOW THE POWERPOINT SLIDES. Re-read them a few times before each test. Eppright is a pretty fair grader, as well as a sympathetic person. Explain to her a problem with the class in a kind way and she'll likely fix it. Overall I really enjoyed the class.

Professor Eppright is the best teacher I've had at Cal Poly. She makes a boring and dry subject both interesting and fun. She understands that we are college students and that we have lives. She is also very approachable. Not only that, but the class is an easy A, as long as you go to class and read the powerpoint slides. We had some small quizzes, one midterm with an essay, one ethics essay, and a final essay. I know it sounds like a lot of writing, but it's really not. I wish I could take this class again because Eppright was just that awesome.

Professor Eppright is awesome. Easily one of my favorite professors at Cal Poly. She is easy to talk to and very personable. She isn't the type to tell you exactly what you need to know for the exams, but she prepares you for them during each class. Can be a lot of case readings, but she doesn't make you buy the textbook and it is completely doable. BUS 404 is not especially challenging, but is somewhat difficult - she makes a dry subject easy to grasp and enjoyable to learn. If she taught other classes, I would 100% sign up for her.

Professor Eppright is awesome! Even though it is a night class, she makes it super interesting and time goes by fast. I am currently in the class and so far the class consist of 2 midterms (both 25 questions and worth one point with the additional of extra credit point of something that is currently happening in the world which you touch up on), Research paper (Ours was very interesting to write about -DACA) and Final Exam. In the syllabus it states that she will assign a take home but we haven't received it yet. She knows we have lives outside of school and will sometimes let us leave 30-45 minutes early! Overall, I highly recommend her for anyone who wants a professor to make a dry subject very fun and exciting to learn about. :)

Great class, attend every lecture and pay attention and you can get an A! Eppright makes the class interesting and is clear about what she wants you to know, as long as you study her powerpoints and are attentive in class you will succeed. I would not take any other professor than her for this class!

Honestly probably the best class i have had at CP. She actually cares about what you are learning and only presents material that you will relate to/find interesting. She cuts all BS from lectures and genuinely wants you to succeed. Great class and I actually have learned so much. legit dont take it with another professor, eppright is the best

This librarian is something else. The class is definitely not difficult, so if you are taking a heavy course load, this is a good way to balance that. However, lectures are pretty boring, but she does try to talk about current events. What this actually looks like is her talking about something on the PowerPoint very quickly and then talking for another 50 minutes about Facebook. There were a few times in class that I felt really uncomfortable as she talked about how to justify discriminatory legislation that was clearly racist. Exams are short and based mostly on PowerPoints, which she posts after the class. There is no textbook required for the class. Bless. She posts all reading materials on PolyLearn. If you pay careful attention to the reading, you can get away with rarely attending the class. There are a good number of extra credit opportunities, though, at the beginning of some classes which is one of her incentives to get people to attend. She cancelled class at least twice this quarter, and she has an agreement with the class that if she arrives 20 minutes after the hour, class is cancelled. Not the easiest A (there are two essays and an 8-page research paper), but it definitely does not require as much effort as other "easy" classes such as ECON 303. Recommend Kathy over other professors.

Really great teacher and great class. Pretty easy A and she makes class interesting. She canceled class at least twice and let us out early almost every time. Definitely recommend Eppright.

Eppright is great; three short exams and two writing assignments that require some research compromise the class as a whole. She is super understanding and passionate about this subject. I enjoyed her ability to relate daily lecture content to major events in the political and business world. We were let out early most days, and sometimes up to 45 mins early. Interesting class and a super kind and compassionate professor!

Absolutely LOVED this class. I have nothing negative at all to say. This class is not too big of a time commitment; Eppright is able to connect our learning to current events that are significantly affecting the world around us. This real-world application adds another benefit to the class. Usually we would end class early. This has one of my favorite classes in college.

Read the notes carefully and you'll do fine on the tests. She's really picky about dates and section numbers so be sure to remember those.

This is the first C I have recieved in my entire life. I hope that says something to all of you out there watching their GPA. Do not take him--this class was a nightmare!
