Ghent, Christine  

I really like professor Ghent. She is super friendly and really passionate about the material. If you are a mechanical engineering major, you will find each lab to be very fun and interesting. She is very approachable and will answer any and all questions. A lil bonus: she kinda looks like a blonde tina fey.

Easy class, not much work, but you get a good basis for ME. Ghent is a very nice person and she is helpful during labs.

The MATE 215 lab is all done individually, just a daily quiz and some guidance from the lab instructor. Professor Ghent was very knowledgeable on all the equipment we used, being a MATE tech for a while. She was really nice and helpful, always looking if she could help. Plus, she looks like Jennifer Aniston, like the current one, not the on from Friends.

Take Ghent for Mate 215! You get weekly quizzes so make sure you do the reading (it's not that much), but there's no other homework. She's very helpful in lab and it's a very low-stress environment--follow instructions well and you'll get an A!

Ghent is awesome!!! Very low stress atmosphere, she always is willing to help out. Quizzes aren't hard if you study a little the night before and if you do everything the lab says you should have no problem getting an A. Super nice and looks aggressively like Tina Fey. Take her if you can!!!!! :)

The weekly quizzes she gives out isn't even hard if you take your time to read the lab. The lab and lab questions is pretty straightforward to do. It's literally read the instructions, know how to format your lab report, and give correct answers and enough detail asked by the questions, then she will give you an A. If you need help, she does a great job helping her students out and pointing them into the right direction. I recommend this professor.

I love Prof. Ghent. I 100% recommend taking this lab with her because she is extremely chill and explains everything really well. She is insanely knowledgeable about anything MATE. She gives weekly quizzes which were a little hard if you didn't read the procedure closely beforehand so definitely read it extremely closely if you take her! She's wicked nice and easy to approach. She always wants to help and make sure you understand the lab. Definitely recommend!

Fine teacher, but a little dry in the presentation. I wouldnt suggest having her at 8:00 in the morning, might be difficult staying awake.
