308 is Conflict Resolution (which seems to be rarely offered). It consists of short weekly reflection papers, a class simulation (with ~5pg papers before and after), a group project presentation, and an associated long paper to go with the presentation. I would not describe this class as difficult: there are no tests/a final. Your grade in this class is heavily dependent on your participation and writing skills (missing class forces you to write papers longer than the reflections so just show up). It is very heavy on lecture with only the occasional interactive component. I found that reading the book doesn't really affect your success in the class if you are familiar or familiarize yourself with major conflicts. Also, the powerpoints are put up online and you can get almost everything you'll need from those. All in all a boring class because of the heavy lecture, but not difficult if you're a decent writer (or good bullshitter), come to class, and participate during the simulation and occasionally during class.

324 is international relations theory. The class consists of weekly in class short essays, a midterm paper, a easy 'debate' the last day of class, 1 group seminar/discussion leader, and a final (multiple choice and a bunch of very short answer [3 sentences] question). This class is insanely heavy on lecture, and as such get pretty boring. The seminar discussions can be interesting, but they do not account for enough of the time to redeem the class. She grades fairly, not necessarily easy, and is big on writing style and correct grammar and punctuation. The debate is really just gimme-points. As long as you show up and occasionally participate during seminars, you'll be fine... but very bored.
