He uses a variety of instructional methods to teach and you learn extremely valuable computer skills in a hands-on scenario. He'll help you in everything you need help with. My advice: STAY FOR THE ENTIRE LAB PERIOD! You will run out of time at the end of the quarter otherwise. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT! Study for the exams. The quizzes are deceptively easy and the test is a smack in the face. If you do the extra credit you can study only on the day of class!

He is seriously so nice. I would highly reccommend him. He lectures about interesting topics and gives you a little history. Very helpful in lab. What a great man.

Great class, lectures can be a little slow but I highly recommend it! He is very nice and will always answer questions in lab. The projects can sneak up on you so try to stay for all the labs. Remember that the mac labs in the library on the 2nd floor also have all of the Adobe programs so utilize them too! his quizzes and test are very straight forward.

I'm writing this eval specifically about the lab portion. I did fine in the class and ended up getting a B overall, but I had no idea how hard it is to learn a handful of the adobe programs. I'm not a GRC major and I think majority of the people taking this class are not. The labs were the most dreadful part of my week. 3 hours from 6-9pm and you will stay 'till 9pm. Not only that, but if you get behind, you have to find extra hours in other labs to come and learn, but really you are self teaching in the labs. Bradley doesn't really go back and reteach, which really isn't his fault. He has to get through all the adobe programs set on the syllabus. However, I found it hard to learn anything. When I asked him for help in lab, he just did the work. I think knowing the adobe programs would be a cool feat, but don't get your hopes up. I ended up finishing all the labs and the website, but it took many hours on my own to figure things out. Adobe tutorials were more helpful than the lab instructions. So, if you have the option of taking another class, my advice would be to take another class like JOUR 390.

Web and Print Publishing is an easy A with Bradley. Lectures are extremely boring, tests are pretty easy (see what color tie he is wearing before he takes it off), he takes attendance daily, you have to participate in class very little, there are a few quizzes that are difficult if you don't pay attention during lecture. I didn't pay attention to one slide the whole quarter and just did the study guides and still got an A in the course. Most of your grade comes from the projects from lab, which are probably difficult if you're new to Adobe, but he is an extremely easy grader.

Dr. Bradley is without a doubt my favorite professor this quarter. His class is super fun (yes, even for non-majors), his lectures are 50% interesting, 50% somewhat boring, but this class is definitely an easy A. He truly cares about his students and is the funniest, kindest, great grandfathers (seriously!) I have ever met. If you take 377 just make sure you stay the full 3 hours of lab in the beginning of the quarter because you will regret it and not have enough time to finish your projects at the end. Highly recommend any class Bradley teaches!!!

Bradley Bradley Bradley, what a guy. Looks like pinocchio's dad, super sweet, couldn't hurt a fly. He is very skilled in web design and such. Lectures weren't very necessary, he's not grade at it, but does it because he has to. Review powerpoint online and look for key concepts on quizzes (which we peer edited). He doesn't try to trick you at all, he wants you to succeed. What I learned in this class is EXTREMELY useful in life. I never had used photoshop or anything editors so I struggled in the beginning but he doesn't mind helping at all! You just follow a tutorial he made and it's a little stressful at times, but once you print what you make, its extremely satisfying. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Professor Bradley is seriously one of the nicest, most genuine professors at Cal Poly. Ridiculously intelligent regarding the course material, and even more stoked about teaching it. Completely approachable and willing to help, especially in the lab portion which to be honest i found extremely stressful. As for the material itself, it can be a little dry sometimes, but the lab portion itself is definitely a useful knowledge set to have under your belt. Photoshop and InDesign are just a couple softwares you go over. I would mainly recommend this class solely on the fact Bradley is amazing.

If you want to learn, don't take this professor. Lecture is boring AF and tests are wayyyy too hard. Lab goes really fast and barely touches on the applications. I would not feel comfortable putting any of this on my resume and that's what I was hoping to get out of this class. Photoshop, dreamweaver, and applications such as that are touched on in the lab but he goes very fast and you don't learn enough to be able to do it outside of class. Not worth it for an area F, or at least don't take this professor.

While Professor Bradley is a very kind man, he was not very clear in his instruction. He also expects you to be able to code a website in just a few weeks, even though he himself doesn't have much knowledge on website coding.
