Class is overall not very difficult, and Aziz is a very nice and sweet professor. Laid back class atmosphere, professor who cares. His accent and inability to communicate can get frustrating, and he has a tendency to make things harder than they are (most likely due to his inability to find the right words to get across). But the tests and quizzes aren't bad, and most of the material can be self-explanatory anyway. No harm in taking him as a professor, I would recommend it to a friend.

Aziz is the sweetest little professor on campus. Yes it is true that his accent may be hard to understand but you get the hang of it after a while. He is really helpful but sometimes it is hard for him to explain the material to you because English is not his first language. He is always at office hours and is very understanding. I recommend taking him because his quizzes and midterms include everything that he puts on the study guides/handouts. So basically if you study those papers, you can easily get an A. One thing though is that he makes you sign in at every class for attendance.

Take Aziz! Class is pretty simple, 2 midterms and a final. A quiz and homework due at the end of week but the homework isn't long and the quiz isn't something you really have to study for. Midterms and final are laid out pretty straight forwardly and an hour of studying beforehand and only slightly paying attention in class will net you an A. He does record attendance though, so you have to be there every day (which in the end might be a good thing).

At first, i thought this class was extremely difficult, however, that was before the first mid term. The first midterm was extremely easy, I think the class average was over 90%. The second midterm was more difficult, but definitely still do-able. The key to succeeding is to go to office hours, Aziz is extremely helpful in office hours and genuinely cares about how you do. Also, he gives a quiz at the end of each week. Make sure you prepare for all the quizzes, because I didnt and didnt do to well. Also, there is almost no homework, just one assignment per week that usually takes 30 min. I realized how good of a teacher Aziz is after we had a substitute for the last week. The substitute was terrible when compared to Aziz. Take Aziz's class, hes a great teacher

Aziz is a really nice guy, but he has an extremely strong accent as he is from Bangladesh. I spent a lot of time just trying to concentrate on what he was saying instead of what he was teaching. However, he is very fair and cares about his students. His office hours help a lot, and he curved the 2nd midterm about 8% for us. He also lets you have 1 full 8.5 by 11 inch paper for each midterm, and 2 of those for the final! the class is not overly hard, but he does assign a few (around 15 problems) of weekly homework.

The hardest thing in this class is Aziz's accent. If you can get through that then i'm sure you can do well in this class. Aziz's accent is thick and sometimes you don't know what he is saying. However, Aziz does know his material of stats. He is passionate about it and shows it in his lectures. He tries to make sure everyone is understanding the material since he tends to go fast in lectures. His quizzes are basically homework problems or in class examples. The midterms are somewhat the same, but they can be tricky if you don't know the material well enough. Overall Aziz is a decent teacher but i honestly would not take him again.

Taking this instructor is like being in a Twilight Zone episode. You just can
