I would definitely recommend taking your biology lab with him! Sometimes he rushes through the material, but he always tries to end the lab early. He wants you to succeed in his class. He always offers that if his office hour does not work with your schedule, you can talk to him and schedule a different time. He is super nice and easy to talk to. I definitely recommend him!

Jad was able to explain things in a way that our lecture instructor was unable to do. He took material that seemed complicated in lecture, and made it very easy to understand in lab. He relates well to his students, and does his best to make the class fun. I really enjoyed lab.

This class was one of my most favorite classes because of the teacher himself. He has a VERY fair grading policy and tries to figure out ways to give you extra points through lab books and such. He is extremely helpful during office hours and goes out of his way to make time to answer your questions. He is very informed about the subject and if he doesn't know it he will get back to you in less than a day's time. as a bonus he is funny and cute too!

Jad was a cool lab teacher. He is super intimidating at first—literally, he talks so fast & is just kind of short with students, so it was hard for me to get passed that. I actually cried after class the first 2 activities, that's how rude he was. By the second week, though, I was over it & realized how cool/knowledgeable/funny he really is. Don't be intimidated by this guy. Definitely go to the open office hours (you won't finish the labs if you don't), ask questions, and study for the quizzes. They're detailed, but he usually told us what was going to be on it. Also, follow his lab notebook instructions EXACTLY!! He is crazy picky; just do it like he says. TAKE THIS GUY.

Jad is a beacon of success. A titan of education. A wizard of the microbiological arts. Jad is able to convey the material in a way unparalleled by any other professor I've ever come across. I had gotten C's in every biology course prior to this one, but Jad was able to fight through the lack of motivation, poor study habits, and pain to bring me out a winner. A winner fit to succeed and a winner full of A's. He gave us ingenious study tools and lectures felt like they were literally being absorbed. Because masterful teaching style our class walked faster, stood higher, and dropped a D on the class averages. I felt his knowledge following me, even to lecture and the grocery store.. There is no choice when it comes to Microbiology, Jad is the answer. I would not be surprised to come back and see him with a nobel prize, MENSA membership, and the cure to cancer sitting on his desk. Jad made my year and my life better in a way words can't even dream to describe. I will never forget Jad or micro 224.

Greta instructor and great lab! The lab seems like it will be overwhelming, but Jad tries to help a lot. He has extra open lab hours and is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, as one of my favorite lab instructors.
