Such an amazing math teacher. His class really isnt that easy... hes just REALLY good at teaching it. He's so passionate about what he does, its really inspiring and I hope I love what i do as much as he does someday. Hes always willing to help and answer and questions. If you have a question about anything.... hes really reasonable. I definitely recommend him to anyone

Wade is an AWESOME teacher! he is personal, approachable, and knows what he is doing. i am not going to lie, i thought the class was going to be a joke when i first saw him because hes somewhat small and looks young and new at the whole teaching thing. But as the classes went on my respect for him as a teacher and person completely changed. Wade managed to get students to pay attention and get involved in a really boring subject (i took AP calc my senior year and i even enjoyed going to class and i even went to a couple of office hours). WORDS OF ADVICE: if you are getting wade as your teacher and struggle in math, dont sign up for study sessions, go to office hours! its pretty much one-on-one tutoring and you pretty much come out of the office hours feeling like you know the material just as good as he does. And he doesnt make any of his students feel stupid. it has been a long time since ive seen a teacher as passionate in math and teaching as he is. DEFINITELY TAKE HIM!

Wade is by far one of the best teachers at Cal Poly and he is one of the newer and younger teachers. He presents all of his material super clearly to where no one can have any questions, and if you do he is always willing to help you out with any extra time in class or during his office hours. He understands exactly what it is that students need to learn the material given and he really wants the students to do well. He grades homework and as long as you do it all and do it right you should get a good portion of your grade there. He always goes over what will be on the midterm and it is always exactly what he says, so just listen to him and practice the problems that he gives. The final is cumulative, but again, he will go over any of the new material that will be on the test and otherwise just study the midterms from earlier because its all on that material. Wade also gives a lot of opportunities to replace low grades with better ones by doing extra credit or projects that he assigns.

Amazing teacher. Had him for precalculus and actually understood how to do everything because he taught well. Also if you have a question don't be afraid to ask! He doesn't make you feel like you're stupid just because you don't understand something. When he teaches, he goes through every little step, unlike some teachers who just skip through the easier, more basic steps. Two midterms and one final. If you do better on the final than on one of the midterms, he will replace the grade with the grade you got on the final. He also gives out extra credit projects. DO THEM. it will help you if you have a borderline grade. TAKE THIS GUY I WISH HE TAUGHT EVERY SINGLE MATH CLASS AT POLY.

Wade is a really good teacher and I highly recommend him. He presents the material clearly and is always happy to answer questions. I never went to his office hours but I wish I did, because I hear they were really helpful. There are 2 midterms and 1 final which is cumulative. Homework is a big part of your grade so DO IT! He also gives a few small extra credit projects which are super easy and I highly recommend you take the time to do them.

This is probably the best math professor I've ever had in my life. He presents the material so clearly and thoroughly and his lectures can be really funny at times since he's so into math. He's always willing to help and explain things out. Take a class with this professor!

SERIOUSLY, BEST MATH TEACHER EVER! In all my years and all the math teachers I have ever ever had, Wade is seriously the best ever. Not only does he pay attention to student needs, but he understands students on a level that is unseen with any other professor; and, get this, he actually cares about his students, and takes the time to get to know each and every one of them. His class is somewhat difficult, i\'ll admit, but his organized method of teaching and incredibly direct lectures make it a piece of cake. He writes down everything he thinks you should write down, making notes easy. He doesnt assign a huge amount of homework, which was nice because it gives students the ability to actually pay attention to what they do, as opposed to rushing through endless amounts of work. His tests are all very fair, and are incredibly predictable, because he always tells you what his favorite problems are, or what types of problems he \"really really likes\". He also tells you what to star in your notes, as a way of showing its important to know for the tests! Seriously, one of the best teachers i\'ve ever had; TAKE HIS CLASS!

If only he taught more calculus classes!! :( Wade is the best math teacher I've ever had. Often times young teachers and undergrads will be obnoxious and try to relate to you, causing the class to be somewhat chaotic, usually along with a loss of expectations. Wade is professional and very organized, and he really knows calculus, with the additional benefit of seeing calculus the way a young person would. He grades fairly, lectures are interesting, good teaching style, and exams are a fair representation of the material. Sometimes I see him around campus and he still remembers me and says "Hi".

I can't believe not a single person has left a negative comment on his page yet. Oh wait, yes I can. Whoever is paying Wade should pay him more. Seriously, this man teaches like Joseph Smith tells stories. If you have any trouble with math and you step inside the ten ft radius of clarity that constantly circles Wade then you will see the light. Even if you can't get him as a teacher, just like sit outside his class and listen to the mumbling's through the wall. You will learn more there than you would on a journey to the center of the universe.

I had him for 141.. and every calc class since then I have wished for Wade to teach. We actually petitioned for him to teach calc 2.. no dice. Apparently here at Poly tenure is more important than teaching ability. I would drink his sweat because it probably contains the cure to cancer. True story.
