Easy A. Lectures were very poor, seemed like there was no point in going to class. Also not that many assignments.

Class was entertaining and she helped us with the papers we turned in so that they were perfect. She is not there to tear your papers apart but to help you. I found that this class was pretty easy and I didn't need to do much work other than write the papers and do the assigned reading questions. Class met every other week (conferences were scheduled when class didn't meet).

If you are a man do not take this class. She is a feminist and hates men. She does not really give a crap about the students but more about her personal life. She is not willing to help that much with your essays. The class was a waste of a quarter

She says that you have to keep up on the work and can't cram at the end like for math. She's right. The class was fun and I learned a lot but my papers would have been better if I had worked all quarter. She's not nice about taking late work or granting extensions. Don't expect sympahty.

Lectures were always interesting. Class meets irregularly and she doesn't help make up assignmnets. I hated the book!!!!!!!

Don't take this class if you don't want to do a lot of wwriting. You will learn, but only if you work at. The instrcutor is flexible but doesn't let you get away with much. It's hard to know what to expect. She changes assignments at the last minute, so get a friend to go to class for you so you can get assignments from if you miss a class. She desnt take late work.

She makes you re do all your work over and over agina. You have to write and write it again. She never likes the first thing you do and she's really picky. The book suckes! A teacher at Poly wrote it and it is really boring. We did get to watch movies and x-file episodes. But then we had to write about them

Anyone whining about Ms. Graecyn is a complete idiot. She makes har classes simple and straightforward. She tells you what she expects and then expects it done on time. However, she doesn't expect more than an essay every week and a half and all you really have to do is keep a notebook and do journals. She grades rather easily and is very understanding. She lightened up lectures with comments on life, sex, and rock and roll. She likes the dead kennedy's and other punk bands. Anyone who can't pull a C out of her class is someone who was just unwilling to do some writing. She's a decent teacher- I would take her again.

I enjoyed the class, the class wasn't very difficult. I did my work, or most of it. Althought the daily journal was somewhat pointless. I did like her style of teaching, very open and accessable. We never got to watch terminator2 like we were promised...

okay, two words. lazy bitch. she cancells class 2-3 days a week, the class was supposed to meet 4 times a week. why? she gave us so much busy work that we deserved a break. collected all work and returned with neither grade nor comments on it. i did all the work, went to class most of the time, when she actually had it, and i belive i did an excellent job on the final project. i got As and Bs on the in-class essays. she never returned my final project, never told me what i got on it, and gave me a C in the class. i still dont know why. there are worse teachers, but this one sucks pretty bad.

I took this class 2 years ago, and it took me until noww as I finish school to see how it was really valuable. At the time I thought it was a fun class but not relevant to me. Now I see that not only did Ms. Graecyn help me learn to write better she also helped me with logical thinking. So, everyone who thinks this class doesn't apply to them, ask yourself if writing isn't important to you is thinking? I don't understand why some students thought she wasn't helpful. Did you GO to office hours? If you have to take this class, and we all do, at least her class will be fun.

What the guy/gal below said. Amen. I too took this class and have long since graduated from Poly, but I was cruising Poly Ratings for a kick and thought that I should pipe in and let you know how much of a joke this prof is.
