She's a great teacher and this class was one of the few I actually looked forward to going to, plus we got out of the 2 hour class an hour to 30 minutes early just about everyday. There are a few homework assignments but they are incredibly easy, and pretty much just improve your grade, there are also a few chances to do extra credit, like getting your cholesterol checked at the health center, your body fat tested, a fitness test, and you get 10 points each for these which really adds up since the midterms are worth 100 pts and the final is 150 points. ALl of the stuff you learn in this class is pretty much a little extra knowledge to add to what you already know about eating, exercise, alcohol, etc, and there were also some guest speakers which was interesting. The midterms and final had some of the same questions so I would reccommend going over the wrondg answers on your midterm with her at office hours so you don't miss them on the final...plus some of the questions were never covered in lecture so it's not like you could study the notes more and get them right later on. THe class is easy, I barely studied and got a B+, and should have studied a little more for an A so take this class!

Dr. Glassmeyer is a great teacher. During lectures, she has the overheads to explain concepts in its entirety and she tells you exactly what information is irrelevent for the tests. Her tests have a mixture of really easy questions and really hard ones. I got a B- and a B on her tests, but if you come to her office and review the tests before the day of finals, you will do well on the final. Although she tells you everything you need to know on a test on the study guides, be sure to do your reading. As long as you do your reading, complete the assignments, and study your notes wholly, you should do well in her class. This class is easy as long as you keep up and attend all lectures. The assignments are graded very easily and those are chances to boost your grade. They range from simple web activities to a research paper. She also brought in guest speakers who were very interesting. Dr. Glassmeyer really helps us adjust to the curriculum of college life. Her lectures on violence, stress, alcohol etc. tell us more about how our health is being affected by our actions. These lectures are useful for life in college and beyond. I would definitely recommend her, especially for freshmen.

Professor Glassmeyer cares for her students and it shows in the way she constructs her classes. It is essential to go to class to do well on the tests and final. The homework is EXTREMELY easy and the tests aren't much more difficult. The final was more difficult because of its length, but if you go into her office hours a few hours before the final and review the past tests, you will see the same questions on the final. I found her guest speakers informative and friendly. Sometimes, during her lectures, I felt like she pulled statistics out of nowhere, but we were never tested on her bogus numbers. Glassmeyer's class is definately worthwhile to take.

This class should be a 100 level class as there is not much to it. Very basic information, not too difficult to process, and the notes come straight off the overhead. The homework is busy work, and the tests aren't that hard, I hardly studied (but the second one is more picky). Overall she's a good instructor, easily accessible, is knowlegable about the subject and pretty enthusiastic about it. What more could you ask for I suppose.

The class is not bad and is just basically an extension on what you allready know about health. The second test is harder than the first, but if you study for them you should do fine. Homework takes 2 seconds and is an easy way of helping your grade. She also offers extra credit. Recitation was the most boring thing imaginable in that the recitation teacher just said everything that was said the day before in lecture. Overall pretty decent and some parts are interesting, good guest speakers.

This is an excellent class for those interested in improving their lifestyle and is also very easy if you need to fulfill the GE requirement. It covers everything from health care to relationship issues. Professor Glassmeyer is an excellent lecturer and is very fun and easy to talk to. She is always willing to help students by listening or offering advice on out of class problems as well. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Glassmeyer is a sweet caring professor. I enjoyed this basic health class and found it to be a breeze. She followed the text well and didn't give extremely difficult exams. I would totally recommend her to anyone who needed to take 250 as a GE requirement.

Dr. G is a wonderful instructor and person. She generally cares about the classes she teaches and the students she has. She is always willing to help out, even when it comes to finding jobs or internships. I loved having her for an instructor, and encourage others to take her class. One thing to mention, is that she does give you lot of informational handouts. However, keep them becuase you will find a time when you will want them.
