Wow, Frisco was so incredible. He has such an energy and passion for speech. He encouraged me to find joy and a love in speaking and showed how unnecessary fear really is in public speaking. I would definitely recommend him to any one. Just remember to speak extemporaneously or conversationally. This class is not only good for the quarter but such a great life skill to learn. Also, I found office hours a great resource for speech guidance and he is really interested in investing in his students.

Professor Frisco is one of the best introductory professors for Coms classes. The class is based on one informative speech, two persuasive speeches, a midterm and final, and one 7 page essay. The speeches are simple enough if you put some time into them and try and actually do a good job. The midterm and final are easy points if you do the reading assigned for the class and the essay is pretty basic as well. Overall Frisco makes public speaking less daunting for those who have trouble talking in front of people and provides a smooth introduction into Coms.

Harder then you think people! Not that easy of an A. Midterm and final are weighted so heavily but have a total of 50 questions combined. Good luck

This class isn't an easy A. His midterms and finals are short but graded heavily. He didn't inform of us of many questions that were on the final. He does make public speaking easier, but i wouldn't suggest him

Professor Frisco is amazing. I'll admit that there is a lot of work for his class and the 10 page paper at the end of quarter is a bit ridiculous, but if you are at all afraid of public speaking I would take his class. He makes you feel comfortable getting up infront of the class and gives you the tools to create an amazing speech. His class definitely made me less nervous about public speaking!

Frisco is really funny and makes public speaking in front of the class comfortable and not a big deal. He makes the class entertaining, def recommend!

Frisco is super chill. You just have to go to his class for participation, understand common sense in arguments, and present three speeches on literally ANYTHING (this was harder for me to choose..) He does not grade hard at all and doesn't make you dress up, I just don't feel like I learned how to speak publicly that well. Overall, fun class to go to and easy - a lot better than most classes. Definitely recommend taking him

Professor Frisco is a great professor! He is entertaining, which was nice for an 8 AM class. Frisco made the class interesting and I enjoyed going to class. The workload isn’t too bad, however, there are some speeches where you give one of them one week, and then the next week you’ll be giving your next. And that was about as overwhelming as it got. The 10 page paper that some people say is ridiculous, really isn’t as bad as they say, as long as you start it when the second persuasive speech is assigned. The midterm isn’t too bad if you do the reading (I didn’t) and the final is accumulative of the entire quarter. He gives you study sheets of what’s going to be on each exam, which is helpful. He sometimes posts his notes online (powerpoint), but I think taking notes is a lot more useful because he adds some material. Also, I’d say to try to stay current with events happening locally, nationally, and internationally because he says to keep your topics “current” (within the last year or two) and it was always a pain trying to think of something current to speak about. Overall, a great professor! The work isn’t too bad if you stay relatively up-to-date.

Only 3 major speeches in the quarter, ranging from 5 to 10 minutes long. And a 10 page paper at the end which wasn't too fun. Most of the class is listening to other peoples speeches. midterm and final are mostly based off the reading and fairly easy if you actually read.

He was a good teacher and public speaker, although he had some policies that were kind of ridiculous. On speaking days where you listen to the other speeches, if you were 3 minutes late, you would lose all participation points for that day as he would not give you your question sheet(paper where you write down questions; you are required to ask about 2 per day), basically meaning it would be a waste to even show up. If your term paper isn't more than 7 pages long, you cannot earn above a C, no matter how good, which encourages plenty of bullshitting. He has no sympathy for the fact that it's a 7am class. On the plus side, he was a fairly average teacher, and made speeches easier by sort of guiding us with topics.

Boring

Take Frisco. He's just a genuine human being and really cares about all of his students succeeding. He gets that everyone isn't good at public speaking and grades based on your own improvement, not the class average. Basically, TAKE FRISCO, TAKE FRISCO, TAKE FRISCO, TAKE FRISCO.

Course load pretty manageable 3 real speeches and a couple easy special occasion speeches. Very personable. He tried to make the lessons fun and I didn't go to ONE class without laughing at some point or another. Definitely recommend him :)

WORST CLASS EVER!! Do not take frisco. terrible teacher. does not teach you anything. grades tough. his class is grade A bullshit at its finest. take anybody but frisco. midterm and final are all on shit hes never talked about once in class.

Awesome guy. Take him if you can, I think he is the best, from what I hear based on what other students in COMS say about there class.

Frisco was amazing! He's very entertaining; I had him at 7 a.m., yet he still managed to have the class laughing nearly every lecture. I'm terrified of public speaking, and though I wouldn't say he magically cured my fear, he encouraged us to choose topics that we were comfortable with and knowledgeable about, which made it a lot easier to stand up in front of a class and speak. His tests aren't too bad, either. There's some reading and a few quizzes on the reading, but he's pretty laid back--one time, the entire class forgot to do the reading, and so he lectured on the material before quizzing us.

I have been dreading taking COMS since high school. I am relatively shy and was always scared to get up in front of the class. After completing this course, public speaking no longer scares me and I feel confident in front of an audience. Frisco was fantastic at making you feel comfortable and helps you realize that you are all in it together. Coms went from being my most dreaded class, to my favorite of the whole quarter. He lets you choose topics you are passionate about and is very good at directing you with the topic of your choice. His midterm was relatively easy although I did study quite a bit for it. The only downside of this class is the final and the research paper. The final was very difficult and I spent a long time studying for it. I also spent quite some time on the research paper but it was graded pretty harshly. However, with only 4 formal speeches and 2 casual speeches, you can't beat Frisco's fantastic personality and fun class!

FRISCO IS MY FAVORITE PERSON He makes his lectures interesting because he has a great sense of humor. Genuine, funny guy who I really wish I could take another class with. Take him if you can, hes one of my favorite professors ive had at Poly so far :)

I took this professor after heaving wonderful things. After being enrolled in the class I checked his poly ratings and was a little nervous I had made a mistake. After a wonderful quarter I can say that Frisco's current rating doesn't reflect his ability to teach. He brings humor to each lecture, works around the students and is the most willing to help teacher i've experienced at this school. Being a 6-8 pm class it's rare for me to refer to it as somewhere I looked forward to being. I was terrified of public speaking in the beginning but through his teaching and humor the classroom really comes together to be an environment that encourages one another. Also...to all the ratings that complain about the 10 page paper....It's 5-8 and double spaced...Cmon people. Take Frisco for a good experience

Take this professor!!!! Seriously had the best time in his class. He's funny and he's willing to help his students. I went into his office hours one day because I had no idea what my last speech should be on. I had some topics and he really helped me find something that would work for my last speech. His quizzes can be hard if you neglect the reading though, so make sure you do the reading!!! Oh and his bonus questions are another fun part of the class too! He has some really crazy but interesting trivia questions.

Frisco is a quirky guy. Finny at times but kind of weird. I enjoyed the class and I thought it was easy. Do the readings because he has pop quizzes on them and the midterm and final are on them. There was one massive critical analysis of a commercial that we had to do which was kind of annoying so do that when he assigns it so you don't have to worry about it during finals week.

Like other people said, Frisco is a quirky guy, but a very good coms teacher. He gives out 5-point pop quizzes throughout the quarter, but he does give opportunities to gain some points back. Overall, a great coms teacher. He never makes you feel embarrassed or weird about your speeches and his grades are reasonable. I thoroughly enjoyed the class. Definitely should've studied for the midterm and final a lot more, though, because I definitely could've gotten an A.

I was very nervous about taking a public speaking course but Frisco ended up being one of my favorite professors. Very funny and helped the class relax a lot. He was very fair in his grading and gave excellent feedback. You should keep up with the reading because there are a few "pop" quizzes, however he always adds a few funny bonus questions to help you earn back points on questions you could have missed. One bigger paper for the quarter but you have a decent amount of freedom on what you can write about. The more creative, the better. Try to come up with unique ideas that help you stand out amongst the rest of the speeches and papers. Overall, a very fun class and an excellent professor.

This class is pointless. Frisco is a really nice, funny guy but you don't learn anything. And, he's a tough grader. I had friends who did the same amount of work as I did but received an A from their prof, so i would suggest taking coms 101 from another professor. If you skip class, he deducts participation points. Also, he barely taught, but the midterm and final were both extremely difficult. If i had taken the same class taught by a different professor, my gpa wouldnt be crying right now.

Frisco is an awesome professor. He's quirky and jokes around with the class, trying to keep the lectures interesting ( even though it can be hard). You can tell that he really cares about his students and wants them to succeed. He does a great job at making you feel comfortable right off that bat and knows that public speaking is a scary thing for a lot of people. He gives pop quizzes every once and a while but the material is easy and basic questions from the reading. I didn't keep up with the reading and was fine on most questions. He also gives silly bonus questions about random things. His midterms are mainly from the book so I recommend reviewing it before tests. Overall, I would say definitely take Frisco for coms 101 if you can!

Okay first off, I got an A-. His grade range is 92-100 is an A, 90-91.99 is an A-, and similar for the B,C,and D's. He was an awesome teacher, especially for a 7 am class. He was actually pretty generous, he gave us the choice to start at 7:10 and end at 8:50, or start at 7:20 and end at 9:00. His midterms and final were based on his lectures and the book reading, which he gave pop quizzes on that were extremely easy(if you did the reading), and he also gave bonus questions in case you messed up. There was an introduction speech, two informative speeches, a persuasive speech, and a special occasion speech. They were graded pretty fairly, but for the big speeches(informative and persuasive), I recommend you go to his office and ask him about your outline. It will definitely be worth it because if you're stuck on stuff to talk about, he'll help you a lot, more than you would expect a professor to help. There is a critical analysis paper at the end which is 10% of your grade. Try very hard to ready 8 pages, because I know that personally, I made the essay long and I didn't proofread it once because I was so done with it, and i got a 96%. And based on other reviews, there may be a trend :P I recommend taking Frisco AF for Coms 101.

Frisco is awesome. He's silly and goofy and is so easy to talk to. He really stresses that we speak about things that we're familiar with and what we know, which takes a lot of stress off of public speaking. The midterm and final are very very easy as long as you read the textbook. He's very generous with grading when it comes to quizzes and of course you have to love the bonus questions. As for the paper, I did get a 90 but it was a pretty big struggle to write it while studying for my other finals. So, do it early !!

First off, if you are a good looking girl with a nice body, I would sign up for this class right away. Professor Frisco is honestly one of the worst professors I have had at Cal Poly. Yes, he might be energetic and boy cry, but I'm not looking for that in a professor. He never clearly explained what he wanted from the class while assigning speeches, and never gave clarifying feedback on what you could fix. He only told you what you did wrong. Also he hits you with a 10-12 page critical analysis paper at the end of the quarter on top of a written, cumulative final. Honestly, the work load for this class was heavier than the other 3 classes I took this quarter and it's a GE. As I said before, if you're a semi attractive girl, sign up for this class because that's what he loves. He gave this girl a 97 on her speech and she said the grunion was the only fish that lived in California! So yeah, if you're looking to have a terrible quarter and be utterly confused, take Frisco. If not LITERALLY TAKE ANY OTHER PROFESSOR.

This was my my favorite classes to take this quarter by far. Professor Frisco made COMS one of the most interesting and least scary classes that you could possibly have. He was so incredibly helpful in office hours and really took the time and effort to help you out on on your topics. He was also one of the nicest and funniest teachers that I've ever had. He made the class enjoyable to go to each and every day. I would definitely recommend everyone to take him!

Really great teacher. Cares a lot about his students and makes the class as fun and lively as possible. I am always laughing during his class and he makes speaking in front of the class easier. Would definitely recommend Frisco. Fair grader and a nice guy

Frisco is great! He is so funny and laid back. The class is not too hard if you pay attention to what he says during his lectures and if you are actually passionate/ interested in the topics you choose to write about because it shows. It's nerve-racking if you don't like to speak in front of people, but in his class we all knew we were on the same page and he doesn't make it seem like it is super pressured at all. The only thing is that while quizzes are easy, the midterm and final were much different, but definitely doable if you expect it to not be similar to the quizzes.

This class was honestly a lot of fun. Frisco is a nice and funny guy and as long as you're respectful toward him and the class, he'll love you. He set up a really great environment for my class, we all got along really well and everyone was very supportive which made public speaking a lot less scary or daunting. The class periods that were purely lecture were kind of rough and tiring, but they didn't happen often because most days were taken up by speeches. However, the information on the quizzes and tests were entirely from the book and not at all necessarily things that he had mentioned in class. Definitely read the book and you'll be fine. Also, about the critical analysis/research paper that most of these reviews mention Frisco assigning during finals, he decided to drop that entirely this quarter so you might not even have to worry about it. Overall, Frisco is very nice, understanding, and fun. It was a good class and he's a great professor to take it with.

Take Frisco for COMS 101! He's a great professor and this is a super chill class. I recommend this class to anyone who is fucking scared of public speaking like me and would rather jump off a building than give a speech. The class is basically 3 speeches, a few quizzes, a midterm, and a final. Most of the lectures are just listening to other people give speeches. I would recommend showing up to all the lectures because there are assignments you can only get points for if you are in class. The midterm and final I barely studied for and they were relatively painless. The things I would do differently in this class is review the chapters before class so you can ace the quizzes, and also start a week in advance on your speech. Don't start on your speech the night before like me and pull an all-nighter to finish it. Give yourself time to practice the speech giving outloud! Yes, I did OK, but I would've done better without the sleep deprivation and anxiety from worrying I didn't prepare enough and to the best of my ability. Also if you have time to go the extra mile, go to his office hours to get advice on your speech because he really has a lot of experience and tips on how to make your speech an 'A' speech. Overall, super easy class and chill prof.

Professor Frisco is one of the greatest teachers at Cal Poly. Let me tell you, I had a 7 AM Public Speaking class my fall quarter and it could have been the worst class of my quarter. However, Frisco made the class ridiculously fun. He's one of those few gems of a professor who actually is extremely passionate for what he's teaching. It's literally 7 AM and he'll come into class enthusiastic and ready to go. Most of his class work is either him lecturing (which he does a gr8 job at he's really funny), or listening to other students present their speeches--so it's really laid back. His midterm was pretty easy for me, all multiple choice. I got a B on it and I didn't really study the material and I'm sure if I reread the notes or something I would've gotten an A. His final is also multiple choice and pretty easy. There is a paper that's due, but for my class we were running behind so he simplified it by a lot, but the paper itself isn't too hard anyways (looking at the rubric and instructions at least) it's a typical basic essay. He's also really easy to approach since he acts really excited to teach the class and he does help you out.

LOVED Frisco! COMS 101 was my favorite class this quarter. Would take it again if I could I loved it that much! Coming into the class I neither enjoyed nor hated public speaking, and I had quite a bit of experience with it. However, Frisco's class made me even more comfortable presenting in front of an audience. He even made it something that I looked forward to. The class outline was clear, due dates for each speech/project was very doable. Office hours were very helpful, and you could tell that Frisco enjoyed teaching this class and helping students. There was three speeches total, and one simple two page paper. As long as you stay up to date on the textbook readings (for quizzes and midterm/final) and start working on your speeches as soon as you can (don't leave them for the night before!) I would consider this class an easy A or B. TAKE FRISCO!!!

Frisco is easily one of the nicest and most caring professors on campus. He is very loose in structure, giving you a lot of freedom to choose your own topics for speeches. He is also very willing to help you and has office hours available, so if you're struggling I definitely suggest taking advantage of that. Frisco is fun, engaging, and cares about student success. His tests and quizzes are difficult since they are very specific, but you can counter that by preparing well for your speeches and being confident while giving them.

Professor Frisco was awesome! As a freshman I was so nervous about public speaking, but he made you feel so comfortable off the bat. Do the readings and put time and effort into your speeches and you'll love his class!

I LOVE FRISCO. He is the best professor at Cal Poly. I had this class at 7 am, mind you I am not a morning person, I woke up everyday excited to go to his class because of how fantastic he is. He is so kind, caring, genuine, and overall hilarious. I would marry this man if I could. I couldn't speak anymore highly of him. You can tell he is so excited about the class and has a true love for speaking. No matter what your speech is about he is always very supportive and interested in what you're talking about.. On our last day of class I almost wanted to cry because of how sad I was that it was over. I would fail this class if it meant I could take it again. He made everyone in our class so comfortable with speaking in front of the class. It's also a relatively easy class, there was 1 short speech in the beginning of the quarter, two 5-7 min speeches, and one 6-8 min speech. And you're allowed to write them about any topic you want. Outside of class the only homework is textbook readings and writing your speeches. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this class, if you are blocked into it consider yourself extremely lucky, you scored the best professor. Tell Frisco I love him.

Frisco made a 7 am very enjoyable. He was a fair grader and made is clear what he expected out of us. Everything that he asked us to do was reasonable and you are DEFINITELY expected to read the book. If you can take Professor Frisco I highly recommend it.

He's a great guy and cares a lot about his students. I enjoyed going to his class. Had him for Quarter Plus so we focused most of our time on speeches. He'll have pop quizzes but as long as you read what he says you're fine.

Frisco is an awesome teacher. Very personable and really cares about his students. He is super funny and made the class feel very comfortable with one another. I always looked forward to coming to his class this year. He created a really positive classroom environment and always showed up to class with a smile on his face. In my opinion, he is a fair grader and his midterm and final are relatively easy as long as you read the textbook. I know that the textbook might seem like a lot of common sense, but trust me- if you don't read it, you won't do well. Overall, this was an awesome class and I highly recommend taking Frisco for COMS if you can.

Frisco was a good professor and the class was pretty straightforward. There were a few pop quizzes, a midterm and a final. If you do the reading and study for the final, they're pretty easy and you should do well. Both midterm and final were multiple choice and basically all from textbook readings and some questions from lectures, but he barely ever lectures. The 3 speeches were graded pretty fairly but it seems like other professors that I heard about graded easier. Friscos a great dude and makes class entertaining. I hate public speaking but he made it manageable and got everyone comfortable speaking in front of the class.

I loved Frisco!!! He was my favorite professor first quarter. He did impressions and made the whole class laugh every day. Three graded speeches, three reaction papers, a midterm, and a final. I got high A’s on all the speeches but I did practice them all until I knew them by heart. If you practice the speeches and go to his office hours for help, you’ll do well! The midterm and final were difficult so you definitely need to study (need to know more than just key terms). The best way to study is to reread the textbook because he uses examples from the book! He has you videotape your speeches (only you see it) and watch it back and write a reaction to it (it’s honestly super helpful to watch it back). Overall would definitely recommend because he is hilarious and really helps with public speaking.

Frisco is a great and hilarious prof. He makes informative comments on the feedback sheets for the 3 speeches you do in class, and for those speeches I feel he has a great way of grading them that is pretty fair. My only criticism of Frisco is how he handles working with the textbook. There are assigned readings and every once in a while a pop quiz on them that is super easy, but just reading and even understanding the textbook isnt enough to do really well on the Midterm and Final. I feel that those two are overly difficult compared to the rest of the class and not in line with what the rest of the class is like. I still really like Frisco, but beware of the midterm and final, since I thought that I had studied PLENTY and I was mistaken.

Frisco is super understanding and kind. His class is really entertaining as well and I felt that I grew a lot as a public speaker. Overall, this is not a GE where you can just slack off and expect an A, but you can definitely get a low B or C. Take Frisco.

Frisco is probably the most kind hearted teacher on campus! Favorite teacher I have had. I have always thought I was a good public speaker and this class humbled me and taught me so much more! Office hours for frisco are a must mostly because he is fun to talk to (especially if you like wine b/c he owns a winery). Great guy and great class! My reasons for a B are because I underestimated the class because the teacher was so cool so totally my fault but i don't know anyone else that go any lower than a B+.

Frisco is one of my favorite professors! I was very nervous going into a public speaking class but Frisco made me feel comfortable. He knows that not everyone excels at public speaking so he finds ways to make class fun and something to look forward to. He makes you give 4 speeches the whole quarter but he gives everyone 100% on the first one for just getting up and talking. He's also a very generous grader when it comes to speeches but his multiple choice midterm and final are a little harder, however, as long as you read the textbook you'll be fine. Overall I would highly recommend taking Frisco!!

Frisco's COMS 101 class was really enjoyable. He was super funny in class and truly cared about his students. The only homework we ever had was writing a couple speeches, so courseload-wise this class was a breeze and definitely not overwhelming. Class time was mainly spent watching classmates' speeches but every once in a while we would have a quiz on the textbook material or a lecture. The midterm and final were just multiple choice questions on information the textbook. Overall I think Frisco wants everyone to succeed in this GE class and I would definitely recommend taking him for COMS if you want an enjoyable and easy class.

Patrick Frisco is perhaps the best professor I will ever have at Cal Poly. I took his 7 am COMS class thinking the timing of the class would destroy my grade, but with his enthusiasm and comedic way of teaching I actually looked forward to it! EVERYONE NEEDS TO HAVE PATRICK FRISCO! Yes, I considered myself an experienced speaker - not great but experience - and still felt a little challenged. But I think that's good because it kept me engaged in the class. Please take Frisco, you will NOT FORGET IT

I very much enjoyed Patrick Frisco's class. He is a good teacher, and we didn't have to give too many speeches, which was nice. I enjoeyed the speech topics, and generally enjoyed the class. The book is necessary, since the material in the readings is on the test. You really have to read the book in order to get a good grade on the final, I did very bad on the final because I hadn't read it thoroughly.

Frisco is an alright teacher all around. He is super nice and always in a great mood and presents the information very well, but he is a tough grader on speeches, all 5 of them! He expects us all to be as good of orators as Obama, so everyone gets stuck with a B or B+ on speeches. There are very few A\'s. But you can still pull an A with the mid term, final, and quizzes given the first few weeks. All around he is okay, but it will be hard to get an A unless you are good at giving speeches.

Overall his class is pretty easy. You can write up a preparation outline and read off the paper for your speech and get away with a B. If you want an A you will actually have to put in effort and practice your speeches. You will have to write one 5-7 page paper, and it\'s pretty much an easy A if you put a good amount of time on it. The midterm is basically all trick questions and he doesn\'t really do an adequate job of helping students prepare for it, and the same goes with the final. He needs to be more clear on what is important because he pretty much just said review all the chapters because everything is important and may show up on the test. But if he was more specific on what was on the test more people would understand what was important to know and what to study for the tests and focus on. His lectures aren\'t super exciting, but it\'s mostly because the topic is really boring and dry. It will come in handy if you know some philosophy and already know how to write outlines/etc. This class was pretty much an easy B.

Patrick is a GREAT teacher. He\'s really funny and chill. He presents his material through simplistic overheads and makes his lectures interesting. For my experience, he didn\'t assign our first speech until week 6, whereas other classes had already given upwards of 3 speeches. This class is great.

For the record I took COMS 101 from Frisco (but for some reason it wasn\'t on the list). All I have to say is: BEST COMS TEACHER EVER! Frisco is super funny and chill, really laid back, the class is very easy but I was always motivated to go because it was so much fun. There were only 3 major speeches and an essay, in addition to the tests. The tests were a bit tricky on the multiple choice sections and you really do need to study in the textbook. I would highly recommend taking Frisco, he\'s a great teacher and a fair grader, and the work load is really light.

I felt like some of his speech grading was pretty subjective. He is an interesting teacher but his good nature tends to lure you into a false sense of security. You must take him seriously if you want an A in the class. Try hard on all three of the speeches because thats all you get and there almost 40% of your grade. I Didnt do as good as I wanted on these and spent all quarter trying to catch up. My biggest complaint has to be with his midterm/final full of information you don\'t cover and questions designed to trick you! Be cautious and over prepare for each.

I thought Frisco was awesome. He's really chill and there's only three major speeches. Make sure to do the readings because there are plenty of quizzes. Follow the outlines in the textbook for the speeches and you will do well. And he practically tells you everyday that you need to speak extemporaneously for the speeches, so make sure you do that. Also, move away from the podium! He will drill that into your brain as well. He's a really great guy. If you go to class and do the readings you'll do fine.

He lays out everything for you. Remember what he says, keep your midterm(he recycles some questions directly off it for the final). Speech giving in his class may seem daunting at first (with 7-8 minute long speeches infront of the class), however you'll find that they go by really really fast. He generally lets you speak about anything you want so choose interesting stuff! My topics were: 1)sex appeal (telling the class about how guys rate girls on a 1-10 scale) 2)failing to halt illegal immigration is just 3)california should declare independence His hardest assignement is probably the critical analysis paper, but he tells you everything you need to know for it, and even provides examples!

First of all, Professor Frisco is awesome, Bro. He is an engaging lecturer and the workload is perfectly reasonable. The class offers the opportunity to learn a variety of interesting things, and lecture is never really a drag. The textbook, on the other hand, is unimpressive and provides little useful new information, preferring to suggest arbitrary "facts" (e.g. the correct pt. font size for use with an overhead projector), which you will be expected to recollect for the final. Fortunately the midterm is easy. In summary, you will have to do work, and if Public Speaking is something you find unpleasant, that will obviously detract from your enjoyment. But you might as well take the class with Prof. Frisco, as he is knowledgeable, interesting and easy to work with.

Great professor! I am absolutely terrified of public speaking but Frisco really helps you get over any fear you may have. The class was great, it was hard work but definitely manageable. It's not an easy A class, but you will learn from it and be a better public speaker. He's an excellent teacher.

What the guy/gal below said. Amen. I too took this class and have long since graduated from Poly, but I was cruising Poly Ratings for a kick and thought that I should pipe in and let you know how much of a joke this prof is.
