I found this course really stimulating and it only furthered my interest in design. Mr. Baukol is not only available all the time for office hours, he can be some what of a distraction if you're a sucker for blue-eyed men! take this class!

Collin is a great guy. He's a Grad student who has a good amount of experience in the field already - but if he told you about it, he'd have to kill you. Therefore be sure to pry him for information on his past internships. Hardest part to this course was the Matlab, there's really no instruction in Matlab at all. "just dive right in" is what I kept hearing... it doesn't really apply seeing how there's no real way to learn if you don't already know it...unfortunately it's 100% true, all you can do is start typing code and hope you get something that works...or at least looks cool. Luckily Matlab only accounts for 10% of the grade. The book is cool, but you don't need to buy it (It's too basic to use in the future anyways) Think of this course as a stepping stone, if you don't like it - consider a new major.

Fine teacher, but a little dry in the presentation. I wouldnt suggest having her at 8:00 in the morning, might be difficult staying awake.
