Clark is a great professor and really does a good job lecturing about the topics. Clark is also just a very chill and laid back professor. His midterms were pretty easy and only a couple questions long. If you looked over the study guide he gives for each midterm and final and answered all the questions the test should look very familiar and easy to do.

Dr. Clark is the man! He is by far the most NORMAL fundamentals of computer science professor I've had at Poly. The last 2 teachers I had for 101 and 102 were either too old and strict and cranky or just disturbingly weird. I really liked the times when he would show us powerpoints from his past projects related to robotics, because not only were they interesting but also very relevant to what we were learning. These slide shows provided a temporary relief from the constant lecture and notes off of the board. He also has an great sense of humour and really tries to get everyone to smile with his enthusiasm. I found the projects to be extremely simple; he doesn't require you to code I/O stuff like reading from a file with a Scanner or getting input from the user via the console. He does use the JUnit test cases method so if you know what that is you know what you're in for. At first I hated the test cases but this quarter I really didn't mind them. The projects are straight to the point and are not confusing to code at all (did anyone have to do that sudoku solver project in 101? Talk about confusing!) My only complaint is that there were always a couple errors in his instructions be it for the test reviews or project guidelines. I kept thinking that he never checked the instructions he wrote up before submitting them to us, almost like the 1st or 2nd draft of an essay. Other than that this guy is awesome - take him!

Great professor, great all-around guy. He's busy, and you can definitely tell, but he'll go out of his way to help out students in need. In lecture, he's very descriptive and very easy to understand. Dr. Clark will go at exactly the pace that his students need to understand the material well. There simply isn't much to improve in terms of Chris Clark's teaching skills. Take this professor.

clark was pimp!! his lectures are really helpful AND he even posts a sample midterms like week before the test which is very similar to the actual midterm. final was just as long as the midterm and it wasn't bad at all.

I had a great experience in CPE/CSC 103 with Clark. He presents the material clearly and posts all of the resources that you will need to complete labs, projects, and to study for the midterms online. He is very helpful in office hours, and will walk you through anything that you\'re stuck on. Midterms are a bit challenging, so make sure you study. I strongly recommend taking Chris\' classes! He\'s entertaining and a great professor.

Dr. Clark was a really cool teacher. He's pretty fair and down to earth. Even never having programmed before, I learned a lot in CPE 123 and did pretty well. Some of the assignments expected us to know too much, especially for an introductory course, but he was always really helpful and offered extra help if we needed. He definitely noticed those difficulties and said it'll be different in the future. If you have the chance to take Clark for the CPE 123 Robotics class, or something else, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Professor Clark is a good teacher, he taught well and was very clear in his lectures. The class itself was extremely easy, if you've ever programmed before this class will be a joke. You learn C# (assuming you take the robotics section of this class) which is exactly the same as Java. Overall he was a good teacher and made the class enjoyable and interesting.

This is a brand new class so it was all over the place but you learn a lot from it. and you get to do some cool shit with robots. I had no programming experience going into this class so I was completely lost at first but I still managed to pull an A-. Clark said he was going to change the class to make it more newb-programmer friendly. Clark is a really cool guy that is actually normal compared to most of the people you come across in Computer Science majors. From everything else I heard about the other 123 classes the robotics is definitely the best. You learn a lot and it's a great intro to 101!

The man, the myth, the LEGEND! Not much more can be said about this fine outstanding gentleman apart from the fact that I want to have his children.

Professor Clark is a great robotics professor. He has a complete knowledge on the subject, and easily conveys that information to the students. The labs are pretty fun and he is helpful on them. He grades lab reports a bit though, getting a B is no problem on them, but you'll have to work at them to get an A on the reports. Great lecturer and overall professor.
