Griffith, Michelle  

Michelle was a great instructor. This was her first quarter as a full time teacher and she seemed pretty easy. The first day she said that we would all get A's if we showed up, stayed the full time, and did all the work. Her lectures were really short and her quizzes were very easy. If you wanted comments about your work you had to ask her for them. She could sense students who didn't want feedback. Overall, she is a great instructor who made the class alot of fun and you didn't have to worry about a grade.

So it's Michelle's first year at Poly and well, you can tell BUT she is super down to earth and an awesome person to get to know. The class is easy if you follow the instructions. She grades on how well you did what she told the class to do. It was fun and I met some great people!

Michelle is an amazing teacher, and the Art and Design department needs to utilize teachers like her more often. If you want a class where you learn and have fun in a stress-free environment, take one of Michelle's classes.

Michelle is definitely my #1 favorite teacher in the art department. She is SO SO SO knowledgeable about the art world, and she is more than willing to help you with your projects. Some of the projects she assigns can at first make you feel like your in over your head, but with her help, she'll push your creative skills and you'll create things beyond what you thought possible. She gives really good demonstrations, which is nice when you don't know how to use a lot of the tools. She is a very laid back person, and won't make you feel stressed about ANYTHING.

Michelle is an amazing teacher. I have had many classes with her and i would recommend everyone to her. Not only did i learn a great amount about the subject, but i enjoyed every minute of it. The classes were usually at 8am, and i can say this is the only class i have wanted to wake up to go to at that time. She is funny, kind, helpful, and very understanding. Every project is fun, and she leaves it very open to your own creativity, but is there to help you with any suggestions if you need them. If you get a chance take a class with Michelle before you graduate...i promise it will be worth your while.
