This class is very difficult if you have trouble with Economics. Davis moves very fast and expects a lot from his students. His tests are extremely difficult, for the fact that the information on the tests were rarely covered in class. The tests ask a lot of application questions which mean you can't just get by with memorizing definitions. You need to know theories and concepts inside and out. The good thing about the class was the homework and extra credit assignments, which were plentiful and easy. For many, that seems to be what gets them a decent grade.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! HE IS VERY NICE, BUT VERY HARD AND GOES OVER THE MATERIAL REALLY FAST. HIS CLASSES CONSIST OF HIM PUTTING UP NOTES ON THE OVERHEAD AND JUST READING OF WHAT HE WROTE! NOT EFFECTIVE AT ALL! IF YOU LIKE STRUGGLING WITH TESTS THEN TAKE THIS CLASS.

This is one of the nicest teachers at Cal Poly. He always wants to help you with any trouble you are having. He offers so much extra credit that you should have no problem passing the class. He gives quizes and tells you pretty much what will be on there. This is just a hard course but Mr. Davis does the best to make it easier.

Dr. Davis is a very nice guy and is more than willing to help you if you go to his office hours. They are usually held very early in the morning (that's why I never went). Find someone who took this class (he doesn't change the tests =) and be sure to talk into his left ear!
