Kevin is great. A very friendly guy who really cars about his students. I'd take another course from him if I could.

Kevin Dong clearly explains the material and provides homework that prepares you for the final and the midterms. He has two midterms and a final, as well as weekly homework. He is available during office hours a LOT, and always seems cheerful and helpful.

Kevin was the best ARCE professor I've had so far. Two midterms (one of which was no more than a quiz), a few quizzes (these help out your grades), and a final. Everything was straight forward. The questions were based off homework and sample problems. Kevin is understanding and is really concerned that his students understand the material. He presents things simply and practically and doesn't try to teach us things that aren't relevent to practice. I'd totally take Kevin for another ARCE class in the future.

Kevin presented the topics well and was usually fairly organized. The only problem I had was that the hw he assigned was usually very long and confusing. The projects for his 371 class were harder compared to the other sections. Very nice guy, but he always said,"Well what do you think?" when we asked him a question. Kevin wants us to think critically, but sometimes, when we have been struggling with a problem for a while, a little more thinking isn't going to help. The time committment for his class was about 10 hrs per week outside of lab. I would take Kevin again for a serious lab

Prepare to have absolutely NO LIFE if you take this class with Kevin. He honestly has no clue how much work it takes to do all that he shoves down your throat. He never really responds to questions asked, because he wants you to "think" about it. He expects lightbulbs to turn on up there or something. However, it's really obnoxious to have a teacher assume that everyone is as brilliant as he is. I spent 25+ HOURS on a project in one weekend for his class, only to get a B and then when i did it again only a C. three projects too, theres 75+ hours of your life GONE. would never take this class with him if i had known he would be like that. any other professor would probably actually teach you something, not ask stupid rhetorical questions, talk at you like a child and pretend that the extreme and unclear homework load is totally acceptable. it was a near impossible task to get an A on his homework sets whereas in other classes it is never an issue for me. also, you could spend a good hour just trying to figure out what his homework SETS are asking for, and then each set ends up being anywhere from 20-40 pages long. it's totally ridiculous and a true headache. look forward to several overnighters. DON'T do it.

The first day of class, he asked if anyone wanted to switch. Everyone looked around then stayed knowing they would get their money's worth for this class. He says, "Don't you know what I do to people?" His class was an experience and a lifestyle. I found myself going insane along with all the other students for the right around week 6. The class ended with the plotter running out of paper and the power going out on campus hours before the final project was due. After the accumulation of sleep debt, overwhelming stress, and paranoia over 10 weeks, I came out of the class with a very cathartic outlook on life. Maybe because it was over or maybe because I enjoyed it. Anyway, it was a classic ARCE lab experience I'm sure. Take Dong. It was fun.
