Dr. Elbannan is one of the youngest professors I've had; I think he just got his PhD. He presented the material in a very straight-forward manner. He had everything scheduled out and posted all of his overheads on Blackboard so that you could print them out before class. He went over only the material you had to know on the test. There are a few group projects, but most of them are just glorified homework problems that didn't take very long. He's also very helpful in office hours.

Overall a really nice guy. He talks a little fast, and gets a little short tempered when the class can't follow him, but everyone has their bad days. Otherwise, he's EXTREMELY knowledgeable when it comes to the subject, and is willing to help you out. The class is pretty straight forward, and you get a few extra credit opportunities here and there so overall I'd say give him a shot if you're taking 215.

Dr. Elbannan has a fair workload, the homework (due each week) can be rather long for a measly 5 points, but his tests are pretty easy. He hands out mock tests beforehand, and many of the questions are very similar, if not exactly the same on the actual test. He assigns 4 group projects which are more of a chore than something you want to do at all, and the groups are assigned alphabetically. Lecture can be a bit dry, but he does try to mix it up. He's young and a really cool guy.

Fine teacher, but a little dry in the presentation. I wouldnt suggest having her at 8:00 in the morning, might be difficult staying awake.
