Dr. Ashworth is a fairly new instructor, though she was a geneticist for several years and has a whole lot of experience in the field of genetics. Her tests consist of mult. choice and short answer, most of the test was short answer, and I found the mult. choice to be the most difficult. There is one assignment and a short term paper (2pgs) that is graded as well as the 3 mid terms. All of her lectures are put on blackboard, so you can print them out before lecture to follow along. A lot of info to learn for the midterms, but if you go to class, especially for the review day before a midterm, and do well on the assignments, you should be okay for the class. She is very approachable, and does want to help you pass her class with a desirable grade.

She was a really great teacher who cares about her students and wants everyone to learn the material and get excited about genetics... a fair amount of busy work, but overall, relevent to the course and useful for the tests. Just go to class! I didn't go a few times and my grade definately reflected that. Usually the classes were interesting enough.

Professor Ashworth is a very nice lady. There are 3 tests and kind of a lot of in class assignments and homework. These are really easy though and help boost your grade if you do them. The tests can be difficult but as long as you study you should be fine. She says you dont need the book, but it definitly helped me. Can sometimes not present the material so clearly but she is so helpful if you go to her office hours. She will help anyone who needs them, she even offered to call me so she could explain the material more clearly if I needed. Overall the class was interesting and she was a good professor.

Professor Ashworth was a good instructor, but her exams were really difficult. You definatey need to memorize all the notes and be prepared for long essay-type questions. She had her moments of moodiness, but overall she was a nice person.

She was AWESOME! She had all of her notes on blackboard so you can print them out and use them for class. They also contained ALL of the info that you needed for the tests, there is NO required text book. Linda was very organized and VERY fair. There are 3 tests and 1 short paper (not a formal paper, just compiled info about a disease) Overall, I would DEFINETLY reccommend Linda and would gladly take a class from her again.

once again another professor that knows what she is talking about, but doesnt present it well to students, especially those non bio majors. all notes are posted on blackboards, you just follow along and add to them. tests are basic, with short answer, multiple choice. but the assingments in between are lame. some take so much time, alot of them seem like just busy work, some you dont get credit for, just very random at times. takes questions about material but if you ask something dumb, she will let you know, will say something like, what do you think? like dang why do you think i asked the question? just not a good presenter of material overall.
