Wow. She's practically deaf. On top of that, her tests can be a little confusing, but at least they're T/F and multiple choice. Her grading on the papers is a little hit and miss.. does she just assign random grades? Finally her office hours are at cuesta because she teaches there as well, so if you plan on asking her any questions, be prepared to drive a little bit.

Fine teacher, but a little dry in the presentation. I wouldnt suggest having her at 8:00 in the morning, might be difficult staying awake.

If you would like to be insulted and have your time wasted, take this teacher. Her class was fairly easy with two tests, quizzes, and one group paper, but you have to put up with her giving a SLANTED view of the class. You have to listen to her tell you why this generation is in trouble, that we are petty, selfish, money hungry, maniacal, and a waste of time. Yet she is a lawyer and makes her money from people and by teaching the business students, so she is backwards and has basically lost her mind.

i would recommend this class, because i've learned a lot from it; however, it is not an easy A class. And you do have to read the book

Professor Biering did an excellent job of teaching Bus 404. The lecture topics were fairly new and she did a good job of bringing in quality readings. This revealed to me that she tried very hard to bring up current and informative issues to the class. She discussed the issues in a well informed manner and did a great job of relaying her objective knowledge to the class. She was very compassionate and approachable. I would definately recommend her as a teacher and the class in general.
