Marcy Villa is not a college professor but rather a hired lecturer who knows very little about how to relate with her college-age classes. Throughout the quarter I found her class to be boring and tedious and her teaching style lacking confidence, charisma, and personality. For someone who is supposed to be an expert in inter-personal relations you would expect a cetain level of competence and originality, yet to my dismay I found neither. Ms. Villa produced no original thoughts and exhibited no creativity in her teaching. Instead, she followed the guidelines of the texts author ( a fellow Cal Poly prof )without hesitation and revered the author with god-like status. Avoid this one at all costs. | |
