I really don't know why everyone is complaining about the final. Everyone who failed it probably just didn't feel the need to put in the time and study. If you want REAL advice on how to do well in this class, read this one. Yes, there is a final and yes, it is worth 50% of your grade. But I came out with an 88 on the final, and not because I am just naturally good at Econ. I am absolutely horrible at math, and this is a math/graph based class. I am also not a very good test taker at all. The material was very fuzzy in my mind for most of the quarter. However, the week before the test, I put A LOT of effort into studying, and I finally felt like I understood the concepts. You'll do fine on the final if you: 1: Buy the course notes (it's lame because they cost 40 bucks but they saved my life) ***2. Make note-cards for every definition/equation (try to keep up with this, because writing them all the week of the test would be exhausting) 3. Go through the notes completely once through the week before the test. This seems like a lot of work, but it's not so bad. Do this and you'll be fine. Like I said, Econ was extremely hard for me but I did ok. The other half of your grade is pretty easy, so you should have no problem going into the final with an A.
