This class is the easiest class i've ever had. Thats including High School as well. However, the final is a different story with the calibrations. Mr. Wong however is always there to help and is super nice and wants you to do well. I suggest him as a teacher absolutely. Also, you go on many field trips around Cal Poly. Like Organic Farm, Crops Unit, and Horticulture Unit. People come in to talk about all parts of Cal Poly and what the school has to offer. Its more like an introduction class to Cal Poly than an intro class into the major.

If you have the chance to take Wong, take him! He's an awesome, very interesting, and informed guy. If he doesn't know the answer, he will be sure to find it out for you. I have him as my advisor and he is very involved with what he does. He knows his shit for sure.

Dr. Wong is an excellent teacher. I basically sat in this class since I had taken it as an undergrad years earlier from a different teacher. Dr. Wong is a dynamic, highly current, and energetic teacher. Suggestions: Come to class with a sharpened pencil. Always bring your notebook. His blackboard material is available before class, but he relies heavily on oral and written instruction to teach traditional breeding concepts. So, come to class EVERY time. His tests are not impossibly hard, but study the material and memorize the basic punnet square genetics to do well on them. This professor is a must take for all students who are involved in plant science.

lectures are awesome in this class everything is on power point which he also has on blackboard so you can print notes before class, this makes it really easy when you miss class too bc all the information is on the power points. he makes everything very clear in lecture and tells you exactly what is going to be on the midterms and tests. watch out though he gives pop quizzes and even though they are easy, if you miss one it brings your grade down so much in lecture (happened to me). take wong hes great........ DON'T TAKE FOX FOR LAB!

Dr. Wong was the BOMB down in El Centro & Yuma...the class is fairly easy, he used overheads which got boring, but he let us out early almost every day...his tests were easy all you needed to do was study the notes from class...overall I would say take Dr. Wong if you can...he is a great teacher!!!

Dr. Wong is a great teacher. He presents the material clearly through his PowerPoint slides. His lectures are very straightforward and easy to understand. There

Good guy. I've got him his first quarter ever teaching, and he's getting used to it. He's kind of ambitious though, so he's going to try to make you learn something. Be prepared
