Trisha is a really good teacher, even though I got a C in the class. Honestly though, if you go to class you should get at least a C. I only went to about 40% of the classes and still did OK. She gives quizzes almost weekly, homework that isnt graded or collected, and 2 midterms. The comprehensive problem is easy and she shows you how to set it up on excel. Cruz is really down to earth and seems comfortable around college kids. Shes tight, take her! And go to class, dont be like me :P

Professor Cruz was great!! She does a great job of using real life examples. She never collects homework (but to get an A you still need to do it), she has review days for the tests, and she makes it clear what you need to know to do well on the tests. The class takes some work, but overall was one of my most enjoyable at Poly

Professor Cruz really explains things well. She has a lot of experience doing accounting in the real world and can relate it well to the class. She gives about 8 quizzes but they are not hard. Just go over the chapter handouts. Her tests are very fair and she gives them back right away. I would definitley take her if you get the chance. She will make extra office hours if you need them. She is very easy to communicate with.

Cruz is awesome! Take her for any class you can. She's extremely laid back and has a way of presenting material so that you'll WANT to learn it. And she knows her stuff! When people had questions she very patiently explained the same thing in different ways until they understood, and she could provide real life examples to further illustrate why we should care. Every section of 215 has the same grading scheme (midterm, final, quizzes, Excel projects) from what I could tell. What makes Ms. Cruz stand out is that she is sensitive to "student life" and will even reschedule quizzes and project due dates if the class communicates to her that they've got alot going on during a certain week. A good teacher, a neat person - refreshing after some of the lame asses in the department.
