His tests are ridiculous and with his new additional final (apparently he didn't used to have one), it is almost impossible to get an A. For the record, he is a pretty cool, but he is a relatively poor professor.

Highly recommend this class! Wolf is super easy, and basically just lectures on powerpoints every class which he then posts online. Most of your grade is made up of group projects which he is super easy at grading. Only one midterm (all multiple choice) and a final. Take this class if you want a GPA booster!

Wolf is a very knowledgeable teacher in the field of marketing. However he basically only reads the information off of the powerpoint which defeats the purpose of teaching. He is also not completely clear on assignments so make sure to ask him a lot of questions about it. Also, make sure you follow his instructions perfectly for the projects and your pretty much guaranteed a good grade on them. Overall good class.

Not really sure how this guy has such fantastic reviews. His tests are super easy, and his lectures are just powerpoints, nothing special. The projects in this class are brutal, and my group spent a good 15-25 hours per presentation (about 3 per quarter), almost all of which was busy work doing surveys and analyzing a website that he is trying to develop.

Professor Wolf is a cool guy. He definitely knows what he is talking about and he brings a lot of his personal experience in the field. However, when he is lecturing, it is pretty much just powerpoint slides. That part of the class was okay... pretty dry. But overall 346 is an interesting class. And if you take it with Wolf, you will definitely get a lot of hands-on experience with group projects. As long as you have a good idea and ask him for his input, you will be set. Oh and group members matter as well, make sure you everyone does their work.

Pretty cool guy, very smart. seems kind of intimidating due to his personality, but he is actually very easy to approach and talk to. The midterm was hard as hell and everyone failed, but the class was mostly made up of two projects. We were given the template to do the projects, and you present in front of him only for the final project. Its pretty easy, and as long as you do the work you should be able to get an A.

At first, I wasn't sure about him. He uses power points and lectures without a break and sometimes it gets really old. BUT he is a nice guy and as long as you sit up front and participate, he'll like you. Just make sure he knows your name and maybe go to office hours and you'll get almost perfect grades on the presentations. He has a lot of life stories and is pretty interesting. Go over the slides for the tests. There is only a midterm and a final and few weekly assignments in addition to the presentations.

Wolf is easy as long as you have a good group. His entire class is a jumbled mess of marketing projects that he doesn't really help you with. Do good on the projects, do good in the class. Aslo definitely do value pule, its easy and doesn't take much time. The midterm and final are the same format AS LONG AS YOU DO THE READING you are fine. Don't do the reading dont do well on the tests. Other than that he could kinda care less about actual teaching but he has a lot of cool real world stories. Class is pretty easy otherwise.

Wolf/Bus 346 is okay. He's a pretty cocky guy, not too approachable, but overall he's still pretty nice and there's definitely worse professors out there. He's not very organized and he gives out the vaguest of directions, just make sure to keep asking questions in class about his projects so he clarifies. There are times where he will say on the prompt that the project should be so and so but when you ask in class he'll say you don't have to do that part The class is pretty simple. Group projects every other week (just a simple powerpoint presentation, not too time consuming). If he's lecturing, you don't have to go to class. He'll just ramble. Just read the book (actually do the reading, its not too long) and you're guaranteed an A in the class because he doesn't grade projects all too hard.

He is extremely unclear on what is going to be on the midterm and Final which are both 25% of your grade. He will lecture for days then you may give a presentation or two worth nothing towards your grade. Maybe half of the lecture was on the tests the others were straight from the book. It is awesome that the work you do in class he grades fairly easy on which is motivating to to work hard on. But after studying for an entire week for the midterm to only get a 70 made the class very unmotivating. Makes you feel like you know the material but probably to lazy to make his own questions on what he went over and uses the books test questions. I wouldn't recommend him unless you are an awesome test taker.

He is NOT a good teacher. He may have lots of knowledge and real world experience but save your tuition money for someone who actually wants to teach you about planning and managing a new venture... not assigning you a start-up business that actually belongs to one of his friends and making you work on it all quarter. Oh, did I mention you have to do 3 presentations that will all be part of your final presentation? He talks about his experiences all throughout class... with no break. He's boring. Take a different elective.

Seriously, I felt like I gained stupidity during the course. We gave the same presentation all quarter and for the final grade had to copy down the numbers he wanted. That was it. I failed every quiz, slept through class, and gave a half ass presentation. I still got an A. I paid for more than this in an education.

The final presentation will be your entire grade, so be sure to really commit yourself to the slides as you progress throughout the quarter. Also, be sure to get a dedicated team with a variety of skills--otherwise the course will be challenging. Wolf knows his stuff through personal experience and will offer honest and sound advice. He has a lot of experience with marketing and opening his own businesses, so be sure to take advantage of his knowledge. He is easy to talk to, lectures are easy to get through, and the presentations are pretty casual. No papers, no tests, no final, just the project--so be ready to commit yourself to that. Ties all business aspects together. Great Class!

Overall this class was not too bad. The bulk of the work is done in a group project (Worked out to be like 75% of your final grade). The group project involves three powerpoint presentations over the course of the quarter. These are just practice presentations where he tells you what needs to improve. Extremely easy grader and the presentations are easy to do (just read powerpoints off a computer in front of the class). He has three multiple choice quizzes which are 15% of the grade. The questions on the quizzes are worded really weird and dont worry too much if you average 70% on those. The group work is where you need to make sure everyone is on top of their shit. Overall, fairly easy class and good professor who is really laid back.

Mitch was a great professor. He has A LOT of real-world experience that he can share with you. Take the business plan seriously and he's more than willing to help you out. He doesn't sugarcoat things because that's not how it is once you graduate. I learned a lot in this class and definitely recommend taking it with Mitch.

Mitch is a cool guy with real world experience, but his directions are horrible. Well actually he doesn't give directions. It's frustrating as a student because you want to get the project done right the first time but he doesn't explain want he wants. So basically you redo things two and three times until he is happy with it and when it's done you still won't know what he actually wanted from the start. Make sure you pick a good group and a good venture idea because you will be spending a lot of time with them. The whole class is creating a business plan for your venture. No tests and no case studies. Some days he will only meet with groups so you might only have to show up for 15 minutes. I recommend this class to anyone and I definitely recommend taking it with Mitch, but make sure you understand that you will be frustrated with his lack of explanations and directions.

prof Wolf is one of the best prof i have ever had. his midterm was takehome and his final consisted of 50 question that he had given us on quizes (word-for-word!). he is a teacher that is more concerned with his students learning something, rather than stumping them with unnecessarily difficult tests. this is the only class that i feel was easy and i actually learned something, his teaching technique and philosophy was perfect! take prof wolf if you can.

Mitch is very cocky. He thinks he knows everything and always has to have the last word to anyting you say. He never lets the student be right, no matter if they are or not. He is very cocky about his Taco Bells and his other business' and basically talks about them all the time. The class was really easy, just a few case reports, and the final business plan paper which really isn't much work. You basically just show up to class every once in awhile and do the assigments and pretend you are interested in the boring powerpoint lectures. This class is more of a marketing class than anything else. I leanred nothing about managing and running a small business, as one would think by the title. It sucks that Mitch is the only option for management majors to take for this required class. Have fun!

When asking a question Mitch will look at you cock eyed using his body language to let you know that he is right and your wrong. Mitch made it difficult for me to participate in lecture because of his Mr. Know-it all personality. Another thing that drove me crazy was how cocky he is about his dam Taco Bells he owns and all his fortune. This female favoring teacher can teach well only if you can over look his ego. Sorry Mr. Wannabe Omniscient, but I call them like I see them you suck! Note: Its not a hard class go get a good grade

Mitch team taught this class with Tom Stenovec and it was one of my favorite and most informative classes I've had at Poly. They teach from years of experience and cut through the crap. The project was a lot of work, but very interesting and fun. I really learned more applicable data in this class than any class I've had so far because they tell you how it really is in the industry, not how the book says it is. Take this class with them (or just Mitch) if at all possible, it was great!
