Wonderful teacher. Explains things clearly. You only have to take three of four exams. If you take the three during the quarter you don't have to take the final. Does not curve on grades. Grades fairly. No homework that is required to turn in, but it is still a good idea to do it. Tests are hard but you learn a lot. | |

Dr. Rife presents material in a very organized, logical manner. He is more than willing to help, and enjoys doing so. He is clearly here for the students. His tests are difficult, but you can choose not to turn in one of the four, even the final. They test the material presented in class very thoroughly. You will learn chemistry from Dr. Rife, and chances are you will enjoy it too. | |

Dr. Rife was the best chemistry teacher I've had without a doubt. He taught his class with a lot of structure which made the class easy. He's able to explain concepts so they are very clear to you when the lecture is over. Unlike other people, I didn't think his tests were too hard. He is very fair and get's to know you right away. In office hours, he will ask you how things are going and how the rest of your schedule is. He understands that you're taking more than his class. Overall, Dr. Rife is the shit! | |
