Professor Nicholson is the best professor I have ever had. He cares about his class and the subject he is teaching. He puts so much effort into his lectures and makes them fun and understandable. He does a lot of activities in class to help you practice and better grasp the subject matter. He gives you step by step homework assignments and study guides for his exams. His study guides are actually exactly like the exam rather than some useless study guide that doesn't help at all. He is extremely helpful in office hours and works with you on assignments to make sure you understand it. I am also in his AGB 313 class right now and I am sad it is the last class I can take with him. He is awesome!!!!!!! If you don't choose him for your classes you'll be sorry! | |

He doesnt teach easy classes. Purely because of the subject matter. However if you are AGB or need a class that he is teaching I highly reccommend him. Extremely detailed lecture notes on ppt. (sometimes a bit wordy but better too much than not enough). He expects nothing less than a good effort from a student, but is the type of prof. who has an 8 page SA final for 140 students and has the grades on BB within a night. Tests are difficult but you won't find a more forgiving grader. Take him. Unbiased, legitimate gentleman. | |

Wonderful teacher, and is extremely helpful when it comes to answering questions and preparing students for exams. The class was challenging but I feel like I learned quickly because of this professor. He makes class fun and rather than just talking the whole time like many professors, Nicholson keeps the class involved with what is going on. Any class I take in AGB i would love to have this guy. | |

The following is simply what I found on rate a professor from this future teacher at poly... He taught at Cornell. "Made a very challenging subject, usually taught at graduate level, very digestable to this undergrad. He supports interaction during lecture to clarify key concepts and gives an incredible amount of helpful feedback to every student on weekly assignments and exams. One of the most professional, gracious, and capable professors at this school". Take it or leave it | |
