Mr. Jeffreys is hilarious and is overall a great guy. His labs are very hands-on and interesting. Be prepared to get your hands dirty! My only issue with the class was his tests because despite my thorough studying, there were questions that I had no idea what he was talking about. Keep in mind that he also does random pop quizzes that act as attendance, so go to class. He also has everyone sign a piece of paper during days that we watched a movie (there are also questions about the movie on the tests), so don't leave when you hear it's a movie day. I learned a lot in this class and thought it was totally worth it, even though I got stung twice :( | |

Ok, this may just be the best class I\'ve taken at Cal Poly. Jeffreys is hilarious and you can tell he loves what he is doing. The lectures are interesting and the labs are all very unique experiences. I took this class just for fun but ended up getting really into beekeeping (despite a previous fear of bees). I only studied about a half and hour or so for the tests and got a high A on each. The lab write-ups take roughly 5 min or less and only one is due each week. Its a fun and easy A for sure! (Plus free honey!) | |
