He is super chill, the kids who didn't do well did not understand the material. If you want to do good on his tests go to his office hours and when you study try to explain the material to a friend in class, you wont do well if you just memorize he likes applied questions. Its super interesting and if you study hard and think about applied questions you will do good. He is really cool teacher and like everyone says he knows his stuff. I LOVED this class he is the best! also if you read before class he asks questions that really test your knowledge and get you thinking like a quick study sesh in class.

So... Dr. Hagobian makes this class a lot harder than it needs to be and he LOVES it. He seemingly gets off on his students' struggles. He does the classic thing where he makes the second test a lot harder because "everyone is doing so well". As a result, many people do poorly on the second exam so watch out for that. I remember that people were telling me that they went to his office hours before the exam, and he refused to answer questions... that's just the kinda person he is. Interesting material, but he makes it less enjoyable with his attempts to make this class as difficult as he can. Nevertheless, doing well is definitely doable. Make sure you know the material enough 1) apply it and 2) essentially, rewrite it verbatim on the exams. The difficult part of his exams are the applied portions so make sure you understand everything in the big scheme of things!

Hagobian is an amazing professor. Like a lot of profs in the kinesiology dept, he has a true passion for his material and KNOWS HIS SHIT! He did the vast majority of his graduate level work in metabolism and exercise physiology. His exams are tough, but its nothing unreasonable if you know and understand the material. Definitely not a class you can skip, but not a huge amount of studying required either. Very interesting material and a great class. Nobody skipped class because the material is so interesting--this is a class you look forward to. Its the reason why most people got into kinesiology. The labs are super fun too, especially if you\'re the test subject (VO2 max suuuuuucked though! haha) Overall, he is very caring and an easy guy to talk to. His grading is fair and nothing unreasonable. He expects you to know the material and be able to think critically about a given situation. He doesn\'t give study guides, but if you use his \"questions of the day\" as a study guide, you\'ll do well.
