"Boooooooooom." What else can be added that hasn't already been said? The only thing I can add is that he's much more (relatively speaking) personable and approachable one-on-one than in a group/class setting.

The class wasn't hard, I learned some good stuff (from the TA and readings), and the Final was open book. These were the only things about the experience. Here are the problems: 1. he has no communication skills. If you ask a question you will be ignored, or he will say "ask me later." 2. His slides are from 1980 and he doesn't care enough about the class to update them. 3. If you think the slides are bad, try following his lecture (makes 0 sense). I had to read the book to figure everything out. 4. He's arrogant. If you know him you know this already. Not a horrible person or anything, just not someone who should be teaching graduate level courses.

Kind of a waste of time. Assignments are ridiculously complex for no good reason. Exam is pretty pointless too. Don\'t feel like it really added anything to my knowledge of how to conduct research.

Graduate Students of City and Regional Planning: Beware! Avoid Cornelius Nuworsoo at all costs. The less he is involved in your education, the better it will be and the happier you will be. Of course Cornelius is extraordinarily boring when it comes to stats lectures (516), but he manages to deliver a course that isn\'t a total failure. Maybe a C-. But for a studio course, avoid him at all costs. The studio course I took with him was the biggest educational disaster of my lifetime. He gives instructions that are as clear as mud (or none at all), berates students that don\'t do exactly whatever it was that he imagines he told us to do, has a poor attitude, mocks students behind their back in the presence of other students, and tells students that their work doesn\'t matter because \"he\'ll have to redo it all anyway.\" He has demonstrated absolute incompetence as a project manager.
