Professor Gill is a brilliant man! Unfortunately, many of the students in class appear to be incapable of dealing with such an expectional professor. If you want to learn about American Government, I would highly recommend Dr. Gill. Also, he appears to know a great deal about reaearch and statistics in particular. | |

Professor Gill turned an otherwise boring class, into an extremely thought-provoking class. By the end of the first day of class, he had already gotten the class to willingly participate, and contribute. He has a sharp, witty sense of humor that is really quite funny if you're paying attention. The man is obviously bright, and he does expect good work from his students. His tests are not difficult if you've read the chapters before they were discussed, and pay attention/contribute to discussions. A truly amazing professor that will engage your brain! | |

Dr. Gill is the best teacher I have had at Cal Poly. He has a great sense of humor and has a very sharp wit. He is also exceedingly intelligent - but he is also very approachable. If you take POLS 110, if not full then take it with Gill, or wait until a quarter when he is still an option. | |

Gill is a very good teacher. Although, he teaches from a textbook. There are two tests, multiple choice that are curved. Few answers from the lecures are on tests, but there are a few from current events. If you tae him, it will be little work and little effort needed to pass, just take notes on the chapters and watch CNN. | |

I would really recommend taking him for pols 110. His class is intersting. He knows a lot about the subject and tries to get the class involved. | |

Dr. Gill is a great professor. He gets you involved in the class and covers interesting topics. He is very approachable outside of class. Apart from just being a great professor, he is also a great person. | |
