He's a really nice teacher, but he talks a lot. He prepares you really well for the tests with the homework assignments, which makes the midterms and the final a bit easier. The midterms were open book and open notes so they weren't too bad. I recommend taking this teacher if you are not going to concentrate in accounting because he's easy, but I didn't retain much of the material because the tests were open notes and open book. | |

babineau is definitely a favorite! he doesnt beat around the bush. no pointless busy work. anything you do in class from quizzes, homework (answers online), and notes (which you can easily print out) can be used on tests..the book too! also, there is a lot of teamwork components to quizzes and even tests. his office hours are really helpful, and he is lenient if you have a good argument. BUT you have to read and put in effort in order to completely grasp the concepts...which you will. like the person said below..take him! | |

Whoever wrote the previous evaluation is crazy! This is one of the best teachers I've had. He teaches you what you need to know, and nothing more. The class was very straight forward. We never had to memorize anything because he allowed us to use anything on the quizzes and tests including previous quizzes, tests, notes, homework, excel problems, and sometimes even the book! The final was great as well. We could use anything, and previous problems from tests and quizzes showed up. Despite all this, I still came out learning a lot. i didn't waste time with the things I would probably forget anyway. Instead I was able to grasp the concepts and how they apply to accounting. Take him! | |

Do not take this teacher! He is very boring and doesn't know how to teach. He was the CFO of a company for 40 years and decided it be fun to teach now (That he retired). Bad idea! The class was poorly structured and the worst four hours of my week. | |
