AGB 323 Junior Grade Earned: B Required (Major) 2:40 pm, Jun 23, 2006 Report Evaluation |
Easily the worst teacher I have ever had in my life. As a Poly student, I felt guilty sitting in this "class" that my parents paid tuition for. She knows a lot about accounting but knows nothing of how to teach. She talks to the students as if we were 9 years old and loves to use a high-pitched baby voice like my desk is really a stroller. The lecture manual is a worthless oversized coloring book that you DO NOT need. Much like in preschool, she brings in laminated poster boards and places them on the walls. She scribbles out her overheads during class as if she figures out her lecture while in class, pausing every few minutes to read her book. It is unfortunate that she seems to be the only AGB accounting teacher because accounting is a very useful area to understand but you will learn nothing in her class. If you are looking for an easy grade take her courses, and make sure to go to lab and do the hw, they make up most of the grade, but be prepared to feel frustration like no other sitting through this "class"

AGB 331 Senior Grade Earned: C Required (Major) 11:56 pm, Jun 13, 2006 Report Evaluation |
This was Julie's first year teaching and the only thing keeping me from failing the class was studying with another student whose major was accounting. I didn't learn anything and frankily I got sick of hearing "I don't know" as an answer to my legitimate questions. I really wish she would not be a teacher and would go back to being a CPA because it sounds like she was a lot better at it. I would not recommend this teacher to anyone unless you already know the subject. She should not be a teacher.
