PSY 256 Sophomore Grade Earned: A Required (Support) 10:18 pm, Apr 1, 2013 Report Evaluation |
She makes class fun and interesting, and made me really want to go to class. Lectures were fun and enjoyable and I genuinely liked what I was learning. She likes telling stories about her family and relates a lot of topics back to that. She was always very open during office hours and she really cares about her student's success. Some people said it was difficult to remember the weekly polylearn discussions, but I did not find that the case. She also drops the lowest test, so you can choose not to take the last one.

Probably one of the best professors at Poly. She loves what she does and always did her best to make the class super interesting and try to relate to her students. Her tests are pretty easy. As long as you can answer all of the questions on the study guide you are golden. Some of the test questions are only from lecture and you get points for in class activities so attending class is pretty important. She's awesome. Take her!

Jasna was an excellent professor and the lectures were all very interesting. One of the main things that can make or break your grade in this class are the online weekly discussions, so make sure you get those done before the deadline every week. They aren't at all challenging and actually pretty interesting as well. Make sure to do the study guide she gives you before each midterm and also go to her office hours and ask her about the topics as she is the most helpful and nicest professors I have ever had here!

PSY 256 Freshman Grade Earned: A Elective 8:58 pm, Mar 3, 2013 Report Evaluation |
Overall very interesting class. She gives you study guides for each test, and the average is around a 83%. I have gotten an A and a B, there are a total of 4 tests, and the lowest grade is dropped, so if you choose, you can not take one test. You do have to study for the tests, but they are all multiple choice and not too hard. Take this class!

Jasna was an awesome teacher for adolescence! She had no fear in sharing personal stories, and she always kept the class interesting. Class can get a little repetitive at times, but Jasna really cares about her students' learning and understanding of the course.

BEST CLASS EVER! I loved Jasna's teaching style, she presents the material in a very fun and interesting way. The only thing that I had trouble with was remembering to do the Blackboard assignments every week, but the assignments really aren't difficult if you remember to do them. She gives a study guide for each test that really correlates with the test material. There's 3 midterms and the final, but if you're happy with the grade you have you don't need to take the final. I would DEFINITELY recommend taking a class with Jasna!!

Really chill and fun class, I got a B because I did a really bad job on the debate assignment, but its a pretty easy class. Just use the study guides for the tests and you\'ll easily get A\'s. Write your debate essay in advance!

Take her! She\'s awesome! This class was adolescence, and she has two sons of her own, so she has a lot of experience. There\'s some reading and a response post on blackboard each week, three midterms and a final. She drops the lowest test grade, so most people didn\'t have to take the final. Each lecture is interesting; I never missed a class. You won\'t regret taking this course.

This is an interesting class. She knows her stuff, but if you really want to learn rather than get through the class, challenge her. Some research presented is outdated, but if you ask a question, she will get back to you with the latest stats. If you aren\'t looking to improve your personal knowledge base, don\'t worry if you come to class and read you will get an A.

This teacher is amazing! She is so knowledgeable about child development and research and she conveys it in a way that is meaningful and easy to understand. She sets you up for success and while the class is a lot of work, it all serves a purpose. I would highly recommend Jasna for any class at Poly.

One of the best profs I have had at Poly hands down. Her lectures are easy to follow and this class was pretty easy for the most part. Also, she is pretty hot too so that helps to pay attention. Take this class!!!

Take this class! The subject matter is fun to talk about and she definitely makes it interesting. Her lectures are all powerpoint that she sometimes has before class but it doesn't really matter because she definitely knows what she's talking about and loves teaching the subject. We have fun discussions about being an adolescent and you get extra credit at least once a week for attending the class and doing a short activity.

Dr. Jovanovic is one of the best professors that I have ever had. She makes the class and the material interesting and fun. We did a lot of in-class activities and watched some movies that were relevant to the material. The movies were especially good. She just came here from a semester school, so I think that she is used to having more time to fit things in. You have three midterms and a final...the final is optional. They are usually 30 multiple choice and 3 essay questions. There is a debate, a paper, four homework assignments and a bunch of graded in-class assignments. She tends to assign a pretty good amount of reading. This class was definatly not an "easy A", but it was worth taking.
