Jana was very patient and took the time to talk to you if you needed help. She was always available outside of class and was willing to go the extra mile to help you understand. She also explained things very thoroughly and was careful not to mix things up and confuse you. overall, i think she is/was a great professor and if she teaches any other classes i have to take, i will be sure to have her as my teacher

she was great. it was definetly hard to make it to lecture but overall whenever i did make it i enjoyed it. it's a easy course as long as you show up. there are various assignments and in class quizes. the midterms and final are in depth regarding the material. make sure you dont wait until the last minute to study. it might seem like easy stuff but you have to memorize and know a lot by the end of the quarter.

FSN 210 Freshman Grade Earned: A Required (Major) 10:44 pm, Mar 25, 2005 Report Evaluation |
She is a really great professor, I have to admit, I wasn't thrilled to go to lecture everyday, but I made it through. One thing that I loved about her is that she was very attentive to students random questions (which always came up), she would almost always research them if she didn't know the answer. Her class consisted of two midterms, a final, and a diet analysis project. The diet analysis project is the big thing and it doesn't even take that long. She also offers a small amount of extra credit. Just go to lecture and take good notes and you won't ever have to read the book unless you want to double check anything you missed. I highly recommend her.
