Sara Bartlett is a great teacher and her psych class is so interesting. If you are a psych major, or looking to go into the medical field it is especially interesting because she is a medical social worker and focuses the class on medical conditions of older adults. She works in hospice and has an affinity for elderly people. She truly makes you interested in the field. The class is made up of 3 midterms, 2 papers, participation and a presentation. The midterms are all pretty easy if you know the notes really well (go to class bc the notes aren’t posted). the two papers are on easy topics but she is a little harder when grading those. The participation is three random times throughout the quarter when you do a class activity and she takes attendance. If you are there you get full credit. The presentation is a pretty easy 8-10minute group project on one of the papers you write. This class is not a lot of work but more importantly it is interesting and practical. I think the stuff she teaches you will be used in everyday life and many careers. She is also super friendly!! take this class!!

I didn't really know what to expect coming into this course, but I left absolutely loving it. Sara Bartlett has so much knowledge of this subject and presented it in such an interesting way. The guest speakers and the class activities are super interesting! They really help you learn the material, and the tests are super easy if you go to class and take notes. The class activities are worth points so you have to go to class but its super interesting! I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for this GE. ITS AMAZING and Sara is the sweetest gal ever

During this entire quarter all I could think about was how this professor reminded me of that small little dog that runs through the back of scene 23 in The Incredibles by Pixar. Seriously, if you look it up you will only be able to see it...
