3 evaluations Recognizes Student Difficulties: 1.67 Presents Material Clearly: 1.33
This teacher shouldn't be teaching at cal poly. He himself fails his grad midterms. Not to mention he makes a dozen mistakes per lecture. The class average on the second midterm was 50% and he didn't curve it at all. He even makes mistakes on writing tests and does not give the class extra points. This class is designed to screw you because his "homework" quizzes rarely follow the actual homework. There is homework and a quiz due every week and 2 midterms and a final. This will be my first low grade at cal poly and it's precalculus.
Avoid this teacher at all costs. He is not adequate for a cal poly professor and needs to be evaluated.
The homeworks aren't at all similar to the tests or quizzes. He also doesn't curve the tests. On the midterm he made a mistake on the test and pointed it out when half the class already left/finished. This class sucks to be honest and you would learn more from not going to lectures and just reading the book, which also sucks because it costs 100 dollars and is the worst book of all time
What the guy/gal below said. Amen. I too took this class and have long since graduated from Poly, but I was cruising Poly Ratings for a kick and thought that I should pipe in and let you know how much of a joke this prof is.
